ego 56v weed eater trimmer brand new problems
Bought a EGO trimmer in June 2023 - moved across country - only used it maybe 3-4 times

Reel got dunked in salt Now it’s harder to turn handle after a cast But no obvious signs of dirt or damage Reel mechanism feels normal when spinning by hand Thoughts

When you inserted the 2wd tailshaft @4:25 did you have to press in the shaft to the rear ring gear? In the video it just magically appeared!! In my 4L65e It seems like the 2wd output shaft has to be pressed in. Did you have to press it in?
No Didn't require pressing in... and was a 4l65e also
Did you try putting oil on the shaft?

YUP!!!
All I had to do was change the output shaft
SOFLOPYRO right. But output shaft is held by c clip internally.
