Here I am again with another Heritage Unit grab. This time, rerouted M693 which generally goes down the Big Sandy Sub, was rerouted north to Covington and back south down the CC Sub due to the flooding in Eastern Kentucky. Trailing second would be #1871, the ACL heritage unit. This is a video of that train coming southbound through the Twin Tunnels at Orlando, KY. Enjoy.

This past weekend I helped with Kentucky Steam Heritage Corporation’s 2024 Railroad Festival. Specifically running our family’s 1906 Port Huron 20-60 Steam Tractor. Also on site was Jeddo Coal 0-4-0T #85 handling excursion service for the duration of the weekend. The backstory on the two whistles are as follows. The Crosby 3 Chime is a Late Model specifically from a Southern Railway MS-4 (4911)...

On the morning of 3/28/24. I would venture out to Aqueduct Stretch in Duncannon,PA for the morning rush. For 6 hours it was pretty modest action with the usual, including a WFRX MAC & NS 1068 “Erie” as a Rear DPU. Enjoy the video.

Visited the Simeone Automotive Museum on 11/25/23 for their last Demo Days of the year. Featuring their 1958 Aston Martin DBR1, 1964 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe, 1966 Ford GT40 MKII, & Porsche 917LH. Always an amazing time seeing these cars be run and not sitting collecting dust. One of the finest collection of vintage Motorsports vehicle’s in the world.

From December 21st to December 23rd. My father and I took a trip to between Carneys Crossing to Mattawana, Pennsylvania to witness the more than typical service to get the goods delivered before the 12 hour pause on Christmas Day for the morning.
