I was with USA Truck two different times. Most of the trips I hauled freight with was in the northeast. A lot of the roads were rough and the traffic was very heavy on many of the roadway. I had some pay issues with USA Truck some of the Lumper charges were charged against my pay and I was never reimbursed for these charges. As for arriving at a shipper and the load being picked up by someone else? I only experienced that one time. The load coordinator took care of this by immediately assigning me another great load. I hauled a few loads in the central part of the country and a few loads from the center of the country to western states. I enjoyed loads going to western states and loads in the center of the country. What I disliked was most of my loads were in New York city and New Jersey and from those areas back to Ohio. The company wouldn't give me a toll card for me to use the toll road in Ohio yet the miles weren't enough miles to drive the longer distances not using the toll roadway s. Too summarize my experience with USA too many of my trips were in the extremely high traffic volume areas and lots of rough roads. And the pay they owed me for charging the lumper fees to my pay and not reimbursing me for the lumper fees. That was plain and simple theft of some of my pay. My experience would have been much more pleasant if I could have hauled more freight in the western states and center of the US loads of freight. And I already mentioned the pay issues about some of the lumper fees charged against my pay and never reimbursed me for these charges. It could have definitely been better. Also while I was with USA Truck I was assigned five different trucks two of the trucks were absolutely junk. I made do with the junk trucks several times I fixed the problems myself. I never complained about having sorry trucks. I should have complained about two of the trucks being junk equipment. Also several times I dealt with defective trailers. During drop and hook many times the trailer I would receive during drop and hook would have flat tires missing mud flaps and lights not working. They always would fix the problem when I would take the defective trailers to a truck stop. This was definitely a huge inconvenience to me as I was loosing drive time and while I was waiting for the repairs I would never receive any pay for each of these delays while I would be waiting for repairs to be made. I could have drove with defective equipment as it was apparent some drivers were doing and letting the next driver deal with in this case me. I was always very particular with my equipment as I wanted everything to be working.

Good luck to you. Hope it works out with this company. Sorry to hear about the communication btwn you and them. I saw that they’re looking for regional drivers out of my State near where I live here in NJ so I found your channel to see what I can learn about USA T. from a driver’s point of view, you know, the truth. Glad to find you. Hope it’s better now then at the time you made this video. I guess I’ll find out as I watch your videos.

I apologize I’m just seeing your comment and thank you for watching, I recommend that you rely on taking initiative for certain things by yourself. For example, when you’re at a shipper and the delivery time isn’t correct go up to the shippers office and ask them to unload you yourself don’t really rely on your dispatch to coordinate times because you may be to the delivery before or after your time on your tablet. Also take your time don’t rush! Ensure you’re staying safe whether you’re on the road, truck stops, shippers, etc don’t rush 😂 I had some bad times simply because I was rushing to get home 😂

Think of what you’re trying to accomplish. Do you wanna stay here long term or use this to get your feet wet and gain experience? Take your time and keep safety in mind with everything you do. Be flexible and have a positive attitude and you’ll be just fine

I hear ya man. When i ran OTR flatbed when i first started last year i would run into alot of situations where the company wanted to repower on 1,200 mile load and i'd be halfway there. or there was no communication about pickup numbers and so forth. then after OTR i switched to usa because they have a shuttle program that allows you to be home every night. now occasionally there wouldn't be communication but i'd have to speak up about certain things you know what i'm saying? i'd look into their shuttle if that dedicated isn't working out.

They will pay you for drive. Empty miles man. Just ask your DM about it. I used to be a company driver and that shit happened to me a few times. They always took care of me. Don’t listen to these dudes here talking BS about the company. USA is alright and believe me, that happens to EVERY company out here. Just speak up and tell them what you want to do. They usually help and come thru. I’ve never ran dedicated but just talk to your DM. Don’t give up so quickly. Things will be rough at first then you’ll find your legs and you’ll do well. Best of luck!

I’ll be doing a update video soon for the channel

They offer health insurance and it gets taken out your weekly check. The checks vary the accounts I was on (Georgia Pacific Dedicated) I was making around $1000 a week and they would route me home on Friday off weekends then start my shift back up on Monday
