UK Graffiti Walker
United Kingdom
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 23 ก.พ. 2017
This is a UK Graffiti channel, primarily London, Kent and Essex. I used to film nature, walks, do urbex and various other things, but I have moved into being a 100% Graff channel.
Overview -
I hope you enjoy my channel, however please don't subscribe, or watch my videos if you do not like them in anyway.
I do Graffiti vlogs, and at times I will do a slideshow, or show Graff footage with drum and bass. If you don't like it there is always the volume button!
I am not an expert by any means, and I'm also not a writer.
I simply like filming Graffiti on my time off, and sharing my photo's and footage for you all to enjoy.
Let's keep it friendly and hate free.
I will not hesitate to block people that play up, and comments will be deleted if I deem it appropriate.
Please don't ask for locations unless you have some to share too! You earn trust.
For those that stay, it's quickly becoming a really cool little Graff community. I'm very grateful to have you all with me.

R.I.P M.C Skibadee. Such a huge loss to the D&B scene, a person so much larger than life, absolutely irreplaceable. Many people talk about how he never had a bad word to say about anyone, he was always positive and friendly, and picked people up when they were feeling down. This is so very rare these days. We must always remember and celebrate him. I send my sincere love, and heartfelt condolen...

Tom's brother?
Yes that’s right mate
@@fingerz6983 Much to my parents dismay I used to hang around with a kid called Sam birch. I was hanging out at Sam's house one time listening to hip hop,Tom came round and started schooling Sam, and doing freestyle rap, and mocking him for not knowing enough about hip hop, or any artists involved. It was brutal, but very impressive in terms of Tom's knowledge! I remember you on a B.M.X hoping off platform 1 London bound at Rainham station, riding along the train tracks and going towards the level crossing. It must of been 33 years ago or so.
I see haha yes I knew Sam he lived up orchard street of to the left up the top end recall them moving behind meirs court sckool oh yes that would have been me getting out of paying for a ticket haha till I landed a job at sg bills wow I moved up

Dope Hip-Hop beat with classic Seen pieces. Unfortunately Seen has made it very clear that he HATES HiP-Hop and wants nothing to do with it and says Graffiti is NOT associated with Hip-Hop culture. I disagree, but what do I know…?
Wooah! This is fantastic!!
3 minutes 45 what's that in the sky then zips off ufo
That is weird though, well spotted.

Hey! I suggest you watch the latest true crime documentary video I recently prepared. Your thoughts are valuable to me.
Must be early all shops are still shut
Great video - many thanks . Spent many happy years in Rainham . Can remember catching tadpoles in the chalk pits ; climbing the old cement towers / buildings ; crabbing ; digging for lugworms and ragworms on the mudflats . Even used to jog around motney hill to otterham quay - then back home .
Interesting place thanks for sharing!🙂✌️

Lucky you, he's cool and I really like his style.
Good video I fink that is Trafalgar lane ...I also was there 😅😅
Just behind the stone structure on the roundabout is a building that has been recently featured in the Sky TV comedy series "Bloods". It's used as the ambulance depot in the series, but I think it belongs to the Post Office in real life because it's connected to the sorting office next-door. Lewisham's real ambulance depot was in Lee High Road and closed down many years ago. The footpath where you started your video is just a stone's throw from my neighbourhood. And the bit where you show the leisure centre, in the background can be seen the ArtMongers yellow/orange mural outside Lewisham Station. I saw it being painted (around seven years ago). When they finished it, they offered a small version on canvas. I always regretted not buying it.
That's pretty cool, I haven't seen bloods yet ive been catching up to yellowstone. Lewisham is a very vibrant and lively place, amazing for people watching! I liked the market it had so much produce. That's a shame about the Canvas. Thanks again, always informative and appreciate your time 👍🙏
@@ukgraffitiwalker8846 I haven't seen Bloods yet either, but my sister watches it because she still has Sky TV. Apparently, about 95% of it is filmed in and around Lewisham. I watched the trailer on TH-cam and spotted the leisure centre and the road next to my old primary school.
I like Brighton and it's only an hour on the train from where I live in South East London. The last time I visited the town (circa 2015), I discovered an impressive mural of dead rock stars on the side of a pub, near the station. The mural also featured the famous Banksy policemen picture. I read online that the Banksy is a replica because the original was stolen shortly after it first appeared on the side of the pub. When I saw it, it was covered by perspex, which made me think it was the original artwork.
The landlord sold the original because it kept getting vandalised, it went to an auction in Miami. The locals weren't happy because it was a big draw to the town.
He got it reprinted to scale on canvas, then it was framed and covered with perspex, which is what you can see now in it's place.
@@ukgraffitiwalker8846 I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. When I read the article about it being stolen, they must've been referring to the landlord selling it. I read another story about a council in London painting over a Banksy on the side of a building, which upset a lot of the residents because it'd become a well-known landmark. I've just remembered, the last time I visited Brighton, I saw Chris Eubank cycling along the seafront. I couldn't believe it. He smiled as he went past because he knew I'd recognised him. I saw him another time in the food hall at Harrods. I found out a couple of years ago that he went to the same school as my mum in Dulwich, South East London.
@@ukgraffitiwalker8846 Have you heard of ArtMongers? They've done a number of murals in my hometown of Lewisham. I discovered a new one of theirs last when coming back from Wembley Stadium. It's on the side of a house at the bottom of Brookbank Road.
@@TheAlienInterviewHi, no but I have a video of a mooch around Lewisham which has some murals in it. I done it a while back.

You're welcome Dave!
I passed through Dagenham on a coach last Saturday coming back to South East London from Chelmsford. And I used to visit Dagenham Market once a fortnight. I heard it closed down a couple of years ago due to the lockdowns. Also, the famous Ford's of Dagenham no longer exists. I remember in the 80s & 90s, people would often jokingly refer to Ford cars as "Dagenham Dustbins" because of where they were manufactured.
Your posts are always wholesome! And everytime I learn something. Dagenham dustbin 😂👍
@@ukgraffitiwalker8846 The first time I went to Dagenham was to visit a family friend with my parents. It took us around 45 minutes to get there from Lewisham via the Blackwall Tunnel. The second time happened to be during an England soccer match and we did the journey in under 25 minutes. If only England could play televised matches every day of the year, it would ease the congestion on the roads all over England AND London wouldn't have congestion charges and fake ULEZ schemes.
I do think art is what has revived margate, it went from being a first choice for holiday goers and now it seems to be art central, with a gallery round every corner! I mean even Cat Neil has his own art shop!
Graffiti has been a big thing for this lovable seaside town since the 1980's, And generally it's always been at a very good quality. I'd love to live there. Street art is catching up too, I'm open minded for all art. The mural depicting a fisherman releasing a seal is incredible.
yea deffo need more art galleries in Margate to perk up all the food banks and total poverty we have.
You wait, good things will happen to Margate. House prices will sky rocket too.
Shame you didn't make it down a couple of weeks back, you'd have seen some much better bits at the Lido
So I hear.....damn.
I saw Sir David Attenborough at my local Cafe Rouge in Blackheath Village in August 2017. I couldn't believe it. Coincidentally, I found out that the very first Cafe Rouge opened in his hometown of Richmond upon Thames.
You're a lucky guy to have met him.
@@ukgraffitiwalker8846 I saw him leave the restaurant and when I told my family, they thought I was having them on. I was there with my niece and my parents celebrating their wedding anniversary. My mum and niece had their backs to him and my dad was too busy enjoying his meal to see him walking towards our table on his way out of the restaurant. The funny thing is, the staff didn't know who he was and weren't familiar with the name David Attenborough. I found out he was in Blackheath Village visiting the Mary Evans Picture Library because they'd uncovered some rare photos of his brother Richard from their Studio Canal movie archive. I read about it on the BBC's website a few weeks later, so I assumed he must've been there for that reason. Around six months later, my dad found a photo he'd taken of my niece in the restaurant and in the background can be seen Sir David's famous blue blazer hanging up on the cloakroom door, which proved I hadn't made it up. I shared the photo online.
Just amazing. I haven't seen his UK programme yet, but will do soon. Thanks for sharing 👍🇬🇧
@@ukgraffitiwalker8846 I haven't seen it yet either, but I heard it covers his favourite UK wildlife spot (Cley Next the Sea on the North Norfolk coast). Coincidentally, the famous Cley Next the Sea-based wildlife artist the late Robert Gillmor is the father of the Mary Evans Picture Library's head of content (Tom Gillmor) in my hometown of Lewisham. Robert Gillmor was friends with Sir David Attenborough and worked with him, so I'm convinced he'd visited the picture library the day I saw him in the restaurant. I found a 2013 video of them on stage together at a wildlife art exhibition in central London.
I think I might've seen Dreamland being filmed back in September. I was in my dad's car going to the Shell Grotto in Margate and we saw a film cameraman & soundman outside a cafe, along the seafront, filming a group of youngsters sitting at a table on the pavement. I thought it may have been a group of students making a film, but when I saw the trailer for Dreamland last month, it made me think it was probably to do with that. We told the staff at the Shell Grotto about what we'd seen because they told us that the Grotto had been used a lot for filming over the years. I'm curious to know if my dad's car appears in any of the scenes in Dreamland, but, sadly, I don't have Sky TV any more.
Their was a banging sharx and drunks someone has took them out
That's a shame.....
Nice to see another video from you, is this a comeback? Hope you're doing well.
Off and on mate, can't be bothered to do it all the time. It doesn't pay the bills, and I've been putting money into doing the house/garden up. I'm OK thanks. How are you getting on?
@@ukgraffitiwalker8846 I'm good thanks, still uploading weekly and always looking for new spots.
"DDS crew have been down here" Haha I remember in the late 90s seeing DDS up all over what was then the Network Southeast line. So many sidings from Faversham all the way along the coast with their tags. The cat face is up all over North Kent. Do you know which writer is doing the "E" and "3"s everywhere? It is always with or close to a tag that looks like SK or something but I can't make it out. They are literally everywhere in Kent along the motorways. Can see an E at about 8:32 in your vid and elsewhere. Age 9 has been around a while. Seen that tag next to Frootbat which I also saw near to Carlisle of all places on my way to Scotland last year lol
@@ukgraffitiwalker8846 nice one my friend, it's been a real conundrum. I'll keep an eye out for lazy pieces then. I've seen a 'lazy' (actual word) tag at the junction you take to get to Gravesend Morrisons off the A2. Will keep my eyes peeled lol
If I was writing Lazy I'd try to work a sick two letter L.Y throwie. So E.T is based on the Alien that phones home?!! I'd love to film these guys bombing, I respect the work they put in. Just needs to be more transparent.
@@ukgraffitiwalker8846 bro trust me it ain’t a Z it’s a L. The L stands for LAZY. PNK = paranoid kids
Haha, glad I'm not the only one confused by the E/3/L/Z/Ts whatever it is going on. Funnily enough this whole convo had me looking closer on my travels today and I've seen a couple of ET pieces along the A2 near to junction 2 for Aylesford/Strood. They are very striking (mostly black) and angular. Nothing like the rounded Es and 3s we're talking about here, so I wouldn't have associated the two straight away at least. I also saw PNK next to a E/3 (or Z, or L or whatever it is). But I've also seen, I think, an SK. I think I'm going to have to get out and take a closer look when I get the time lol. Mr. E / ET / Lazy / 3, whoever you are, if you're even the same person, you've certainly gotten noticed!
@@ukgraffitiwalker8846 The 90s was when I started noticing graff (I was like 8 or 9 when I started seeing writers over South London and Kent, traveling via network southeast as it was back then on the old slam doors. I just watched Killa Kela's interview with KNOWN who was a name that stood out to me way back then. Remember south London tracksides back then? Known, Dred, all the old DDS lot. There are a few names dropped in the podcast that I remember. I remember tags and bombs back then being all about clear handstyles and very unmistakable. I know it all takes influence from the next guy, but tags were about as clean as they got and there was no mistaking them. I remember Oker back in the mid/late 90s before the 2 letter bombs, with the trailing K's and R's on tags. I think my fav handstyle of the modern era is probably Ores in Kent. Very slick. But don't know if he's writing anymore, though a lot of his bombs and tags are still around. A lot have been disrespectfully crossed out and gone over by some scribblers who like to write naughty words on new build hoardings. Not impressed.... Lol
I want to visit there tomorrow but I want to ask how far did you go into the woods? Based from drawings of what it used to look like, it had a tower type thing. I’m wondering if you were able to venture that far through or if it’s hard to get in.
Use Google earth, you just walk down the beach from the house boats.
9 months? you had a baby or summit

Lack of motivation, and it doesn't pay the bills. TH-cam Isn't a contract.
