Nutley practice. Now with my goals on these so it can help newer fighters understand that not every practice is a tournament. It's ok to go in with a goal, not tell your partner, and see how it goes. Sometimes telling them is good too. Either way, this time is for you to work, learn, and most of all play with your friends and with ideas.

I guess the microphone is using some kind of software to focus directionally, but it gives the video this eerie pallor.
The mic on this phone is awesome - too awesome. What you're hearing is the remnants after a pass to remove vocals. I don't know what chatter is going on, so for privacy, I run a "remove vocals" on CapCut editor, giving it this weird ghosting audio.

To the gentle with the black and red quartered shield. I applaud your tenacity and truly hope someone takes you underwing to encourage you further and further develop righteous k/a fighting skills. And for gawsh sakes, some shoulder protection.😊 It's making me wince seeing such naked shoulders.
I will ensure they see your words of encouragement! And the discussion of pauldrons is certainly a topic. Sword and shield isn't horrible, though getting a great weapon shot is well ... oof...

I love that the algo sent a few people over lol. This is called "heavy fighting" and it's with a group called the SCA. We are a non-profit that is all about history, though learning through having fun with what we want to learn about. Here we are all practicing for a big tournament that has uninterrupted fighting for three hours straight. SCA.org is where you can find out more.

Just a thing to keep in mind, the Submarine belt is improperly set if it is directly snugged into your groin. You want the belt to be adjusted into your pelvic bone so Mike's belt was adjusted too low for you. Last year when I had my incident with the CRX I was extremely happy that our 6 point harness was adjusted properly because let us just say, it could have been worse.
Yeah to clarify the buckle was midship between the goods and belly button. That strap still was present though.
