Putting in the panelling

I ran into a problem when I tried putting in the paneling. I had a hard time tracing the shape of the wheel well on the paneling because i couldn't reach it from the top but i made a tool for it.

I bought an old camper for parts and got a really good deal. I was able to salvage the air conditioner, refrigerator, 23 gallon fresh water tank with 12volt water pump, bathtub and toilet, water heater, electrical panel, awning and heater. I have made a lot of progress and things are really starting to come together.

Air conditioner shroud

I got a great deal on a rooftop air conditioner for my camper project but the plastic shroud was torn up. They want 200$ for a new plastic one. I guessed I could build one from metal that would last. So I went to my favorite sheet metal shop and got them to bend me a basic shroud that I was able to form fit to my A/C and put some vents in the side. It cost me 32$ for the metal
Blackstone griddle stand

We got a new Blackstone griddle to replace our tired grill. The griddle works great but we wanted to take it camping with us, so I built a stand that is light weight and portable and the legs adjust for uneven surfaces. The stand folds up to a very small size making it easy to put in the camper. Next step is to prime and paint it.

Today I will show how to rebuild a camper window. The windows were in bad shape with the slides and seals badly worn and leaking. When a window leaks on a camper window it will likely get wet inside the wall and you won't know until more damage is done. It was time consuming but not really hard. Thanks to Steele Rubber Products for the help getting them sealed up.

This video shows the progress made with putting on the sheet metal on the side door and rear ramp door. I gave the dimensions for the sheet metal to a local roofing company and they cut the pieces and made the bends. They did a really good job.
Toy hauler/Camper rebuild #5

On this video I will show progress on the tongue, battery box, propane tank holder, side steps and roof sealer with vents. The brakes are almost completely rebuilt and the roof is almost done. The next project is to insulate the floor with 2 inch foam. Next will be to install the gray and black water tanks before putting down new plywood floor. Lots of progress but still a long way to go.

Lots of progress on the build this week. Covered the frame with a synthetic building wrap and started putting on the siding and roof

On this video I will show the progress made from last time. I have replaced rusted out frame supports, added supports for the front to let water drip away . Raised up the roof braces and welded supports in which will allow for 2 inches of insulation in the ceiling, and started working on the door to change it from a 48 inch to a 33 inch. I also added 1/2 inch plywood to the roof to strengthen it.

On this video I show the bare frame and the rust damage from a flawed design. Moving forward you will see the rusted pieces repaired and the design changed to prevent future water damage.

Those real big ice chests are nice and work really good but when you fill them up they get really heavy and hard to move. Unless you have a Coolertoter from Gradysgadgets. Jordan gave me the dimensions of his cooler and I built it custom for him. Send me your dimensions and I will make one for you.
Trailer alignment tool

With this tool you can check the toe in on your car, truck, or camper. If you have unusual tire wear you can easily find out if you have a bent axle or just need an alignment on your vehicle. Message me for more details.
