Tamiya 1/48 ki-84 Hayate (allied code name Frank)

The old Tamiya 1/48 ki-84 in 1/48..I rescribed and riveted her and defined the exhausts more between each of them as well as drilling them out..The cockpit is scratch built with some help from aftermarket..But bulkheads and levers and casings I made(please watch my short on this if interested)..It was work to get this old kit up to speed but it payed off and I learnt loads.Thank you for watchin...

Hi.My build of the Tamiya 1-35 early production Tiger..A really fun kit that went together well.Used Mr.Color panzer grey and after a vanish and hairspray applied the with went on and was chipped off to suit.Weathering effects mainly pigments and mig weathering products.Humbrol varnish used between stages.First Tiger I’ve done in decades and very happy with the result.Please like,subscribe and ...

Tamiya 1/35 Panzer ii in 1/35..I used the excellent Eduard photo etch set for this kit and Revell paint for the main body painting..Just a gem of an old kit and if you do add the photo etch,it shines up a treat.!

Revell’s release of a Zvezda model in 1/35 of the T-26..Revell released this for a series they do/did for World of Tanks..Nice kit of the T-26 and fun to build.!

Hobbyboss 1/35 T-18..A small tank and a lovely little kit of this small tank..Went together well but watch the tracks..The tracks need a little forward planning and have patience and they come out ok.!
Tamiya 1/48 ki-46

My build/effort,at Tamiya’s 1/48 ki-46 Dinah..Still a great kit of a beautiful looking aircraft.The only problem was watch for is the canopies..They are tricky but not too tricky..So take them slow and dry fit.!Eduard set in the cockpit and a little scratch building.Montex mask set for canopies and aircraft markings.

Looks good mate! Love it! A battle of Kursk classic. I have seen the new Takom kits and they are nice and cheap but I’m a bit skeptical on fit.
@@Jonhistorymodel Thank you Jon for you very kind comment..It was a kit where some fitted beautifully like a Tamiya and some was bad like a really bad Italeri kit..The Zvezda Panther I did which some say are like Italeri in fit,fitted very well compered to the Takom..But the Takom really did have super good detail..If you ask me give and take both Zvezda and Takom are 50/50 but both are enjoyable..In modeling it’s rare that every single thing goes well.. @@themajesticmagnificent386 I always wanted to get one of those Takom King Tiger full interior kits they were selling a few years back but never did. I will definitely get one if I find one at a good price.
@@JonhistorymodelI’ve got the Hobbyboss King Tigers and they look great..The only thing with them is the markings(hobby bosses weakness),but im looking forward to building them..I’ve also got the Meng King Tiger which in the U.K you can get for a good price if you hunt around..Again it looks a really good kit..But if you want an interior then Takom’s the way..I’ve just ordered another Takom new Tiger 1,as I’ve got a couple..They look amazing and I’m up for building them..But I love the early production Tiger and I want a Kurst one so my next Tiger will be the Zvezda kit with some extra P/E etc.. Nice job mate, you sound like you sort of come from the same region as me ! Get yourself a camera stand, cheap ones on Temu makes a good bit of difference on your vids mate, trust me on that one.
@@andyfettes6000 Thank you Andy for your kind comment and tip on the stand..My aim is just to tell fellow modelers what to watch for bad and good after I’ve built the kit so to get a heads up..I film on my I phone as for now that’s all I got but I will try to get a stand to save viewers eyes wobbling..I’m from Dagenham but live in Dorset,so we might share the same accent..Thank you again for your like and sub and glad you like my build..All the best Paul👍

Johnny,thank you so very much for your kind comment which is always appreciated..I wanted to beat this one up a bit as I always think of chipping and weathering when it comes to the Panzer iii..The Flory’s clay wash really helped as well..
