My dear old Dad had this album which he played alot in the early 60's, and me, I was about 5. Well, I had it pretty much memorized word for word. I think I just realized why I'm so vulgar today! 😂

It's a really good album with a lot of strong tracks. Been a longtime fan of the early Mac and you can tell in this album he really influenced their sound from Kiln House to Bare Trees. It's so unfortunate Peter Green's struggles overshadowed Danny's own demons in the media.

This is our favourite album to listen to . My husband grew up listening to this with his father and now we can listen with our children

An excellent album, fantastic country songs by one of the country greats.

True story back in the 70's I went to a concert in Asbury Park NJ to see Blackmore's Rainbow. The warmup band was supposed to be Thin Lizzy who I really wanted to see. Well Thin Lizzy had to cancel and the last minute replacement was announced to be Henry Gross. We were all pissing and moaning oozing with disappointment not getting to see Thin Lizzy. We knew he was that guy who sang the song Shannon and said well this is going to suck. Henry came on and blew everybody away.... I've been a huge fan ever since..

You know, I was born in Canada and the family moved to the USA when I was 18. That was in 1975. I loved Valdy, and I played this album over and over. Back then you couldn’t find his music in the states, but my brother stayed in Canada and every time I went to visit I hit the record store to get anything new from Valdy. This is still my favorite of all his albums. I wish it was available on CD. I had his album Landscapes when I moved down to the states too, but this album got way more play. Thank you for posting it. I fell in love with it and 50 years later, it still sounds just as awesome as it did then!🙏🙏🙏 I forgot to mention that I no longer have a record player and my albums are packed away in storage.
