I recommend Lorelei and the Laser Eyes as another really cozy "horror" game. Its basically Resident Evil with better puzzles and no combat.

I absolutely love Journey. One of my absolute favorite games of all time. I still replay it every now and then. Wandersong was a cute little game, definitely did not expect to love it as much as I did.

I'm currently in the middle of another playthrough of Night in the Woods. One of my favorite games of all time. I'm so sad we're never getting Revenant Hill.

What a gorgeous cosy video to snuggle up with! I recently bought Night in the woods and really looking forward to get into it. At the moment I am playing Unpacking for the first time and finding it very peaceful!

Spiritfarer was such a beautiful experience and I'll always love revisiting it, time and time again. Also Unpacking really IS a cathartic game, I feel like that's such a great category and word to describe it.

FromSoft games are weirdly cathartic to me. Can't say why, maybe it's just the world being completely broken and just about everyone is crazy and instead of "fixing" it or even just surviving it you just kinda keep going. Gitting guud because there's nothing else.

I LOVE GOOD PIZZA GREAT PIZZA. I always tell my finance "I'm gonna go make pizza" when about to play. AMAZING

Gris is one of my favorite games ever. If you love that one, try Neva; it's the dev team's second game, just came out recently, and is just as beautiful (but please check trigger warnings)!

I struggle with my mental health a lot so it was great to have a compilation. My favourites are ACNH, Disney Dreamlight, Coffee Talk and my new obsession Tavern talk, Oh and stardew valley I could go on

I bawled my eyes out after finishing Gris 🥺 such a beautiful game. It felt cathartic as I lost my dad a couple years ago and it just touched me a lot.

I LOVE your cathartic game list!!! I honestly never thought of any of them as cathartic but they TOTALLY are!!! I often think of like, blowing off steam when it comes to catharsis, but those games all provide such a true release, especially emotionally!! Wandersong especially for me!! oh my god, that game is so cathartic and healing. Journey is such a breathtaking game too. (also the journey joke really got me hahahaha). I really need to play Gris!!! Unpacking is perfect, also. and having games that are hopeful really IS cathartic too!! and it's what we need right now, honestly. god, all the games about mental health you chose are so perfect too!!! I still think about Night in the Woods all the time, what a gorgeous game. I feel like it does such a great job with characters and showcasing the mental health aspect of it all that I often forget there's that whole plotline about "something in the woods" hahahaha. it's just so good!!! I'm overdue for a replay, for sure. Blue Wednesday really is underrated, I gotta revisit it!! Florence too is just so good - it's so simple but so effective in its storytelling!! one of those rare games where the mechanics tell the story, and they do it so well!! and wow, it's so wonderful that Spiritfarer helped you process and understand grief better!!! I'm so happy for that!! that's such a beautiful testament to how powerful this game is ❤ god, amazing games all around (I'm not surprised at all!!!) - the distraction games are 10/10!!! Core Keeper's chokehold is earned and no joke hahahaha. You make me wanna jump back in 👀Powerwash Sim is GOD TIER brain melt game hahahaha, it's unparalleled!!! I need to try Tiny Glade, desperately!! and I gotta play more Good Pizza Great Pizza, it has so much personality and the gameplay is perfect for shutting off the brain. such a cute game!! another amazing video, stimky!!! thank you for this ❤this video in and of itself serves as such a great reminder to take care of ourselves, even if people are reaching for other games entirely for that!! that is so valuable and important, and can't be understated
