NanoCad (AutoCad) Tutorial 5: Circle, Grip Options, Spline, and Text
In this tutorial we'll be adding electrical components to our little shack. We'll revisit the circle command, briefly go over different grip options, and introduce the spline and text commands. I will be using NanoCad for the purposes of these tutorials, but the vast majority of this content can be applied directly to AutoCad. I will do my best to highlight any discrepancies. Please see the links below.

NanoCad (AutoCad) Tutorial 4: Function Keys, and Explode Command
มุมมอง 142ปีที่แล้ว
Today we'll just be going over the different functions keys and what they do. We will briefly go over breaking a set components, like a block, into its individual segments using the explode command. FYI, I don't think that F12 has a function. I will be using NanoCad for the purposes of these tutorials, but the vast majority of this content can be applied directly to AutoCad. 10:22 How did you get your line to start where it did for the rafter. Hovering over the corner, then "L" enter, typing 24" my line begins in the middle of the screen? Thanks.

Hi, i think you need to make sure you have "OTRACK" on. I discuss it a little in a future video here. th-cam.com/video/V3wqpJC-8Io/w-d-xo.htmlsi=TekgHCRJf4oTedj1 Also, sometimes what happens is that it'll try to snap to a near by object, so you may need to turn off OSNAP as well.

Hard to find good tutorials on this thing. Good stuff so far. Question... This may come up later, but How about cutting a "hole" in a random spot on the walls for doors and windows? Fixed width or Specific. THX! On to Part 2

This is one of the best tutorial I have ever seen. I'm looking for a Tutorial on creating solid objects in NanoCAD, do you have one? Dan

Thank you, and I don't have solid modeling tutorials, sorry. I typically use another software called design spark for personal 3d modeling projects. I might look into it for the future though.

4:44 How do you make the object move exactly by 2" from the reference point? I'm trying to do exactly the same as you but for me it doesn't work.

Hi, sure thing. First make sure you have OSNAP and OTRACK on (located on bottom left corner below the command line. While i was moving my part (door) i hovered my cursor over the corner of the shack (but i didn't click). A little "+" should appear where i was hovering and then i moved up and typed "2"<space> to specify my 2in distance. That little "+" allows you to track from that corner that's the OTRACK. Apologies i realized i could have specified this a little more so i cover OTRACK in another video. I hope this helps and please let me know if you still have questions on it.

@@TexotikChannel Thanks! I had too many OSNAP features turned on which was throwing the software off. Now I just left the same one as you have and it's working fine.

Good video. Keep them coming! By the way the links to NanoCAD and to google drive in the description don't display correctly so it's not possible to download anything.

Thank you, my apologies for the late reply, but I've been busy with other stuff. More videos are on their way. As for the broken links I believe that's due to a TH-cam restriction on newer channels, but I'll try to fix them as soon as possible.
