Don't skip the video to see why this might NOT be the place for you to spend your hard-earned money.

wise to gojek does not work without indonesian phone number
Thank you for this information! Question: I assume I need a +62 (Indonesian) phone number to transfer my Wise funds to GoPay and/or Gojek? I am looking at getting a temp +62 from United World Telecom. Any guidance is helpful. Mahalo.
why do I visit Bali?? Cos every place in Oz is a Rip with BS to zero service $2000 a week in Bali buys me a Sultan Lifestyle that $30,000 in Oz is not possible FT driver, cook, house maid, 24 hr service, private Villa with pool / spa Close to 1000's of diners and Attractions!! Oz has become a Total Joke. $15 for a pint of chilled fizz?? I get a bucket of Iced premium beers for that in Bali.
a tip for seniors who just enjoy being solo after a long ride thru life don't visit bars on your own, the Team will soon arrange some Talent to sponge off your kindness. Tell these Merchants to Pi$$ off and be Firm about it.
😂SCAMS😅 ITS EVERY WHERE IN THE WORLD.. are you just opened your eyes? That a first time you traveling?😢
Is it Bali or Bangkok??? I came to Bali 10times, left my key, jacket, wallet on Motorcycle but everytg was fine.
Rich dad Kid trying to speech hating contents about Bali. 👎
use Esim for data
Good enough reasons not to travel there. We’ve never been more hassled than in Bali. We’ve never had food poisoning whilst travelling except for Bali. It might be cheap but it’s also nasty.
He cannot even pronounce the name of the place he tells you not to go to...this guy is bullpucky!
First drink moderate arak...the DO NOT DRINK in BALI! Follow this advice and may as well stay home. Paranoiad is not a way to travel.
Been staying in Kuta since 1972...never had a problem because I am street wise, totally aware of my surroundings, and no how to get rid of pesty people. Evidently Maxwell does not know how to enjoy it.
Bali is a fucking shithole. Dont go.
I DISAGREE with you on the Rice Terrace. Tellagang is WAY MORE BEAUTIFUL than the one that you mentioned
I can not wait to go to Bali I'm so excited
Good advice 🎉
Thank you for the useful tips on the APPs. Do we need to have a local Indonesian phone first before we could install all these APPs ? Which APPs require local phone and which does not require ? Also does the Telkomsel SIM cards come with voice and text or only data plans ? I am from US as well. Cheers 👍
Garbage 🗑
Everyone i know thats been to bali gets very very sick from the water and food etc. no thanks
I've been to Kuta so many times with my family and never had any issues (last time in `23). Only thing we recognized was how hard Covid hit the area and how many shops closed (especially the Matahari-Area). I try to avoid the influencer party people around Seminyak and Canggu 😅
Slamming your palm into the camera lens is RUDE.
To clarify about paying the imported phone within 30 days, if your phone is below certain amount, you won’t be charged. If your phone cant be use because you didn’t pay the tax after 30 days, Your phone still work by using wifi or connecting to hotspot.
Sounds like a horrible place to visit.I think I'll not go to bali
Or you can simply add a credit card to any of these apps. No need to transfer money via apps lol
I THOUGHT OF A 22ND THING, DONT WEAR UGLY FUCKING RINGS LIKE YOURS.
Idiot😂
thanks for the help mate
some of the things mentioned are correct, but some is not correct. look at some other videos of bali. listen to someone who has been 100 times, not once or twice
Wow! So much to be weary of. It puts an extra strain on what should be a care free vacation. I might be safer staying home 😮
Bro this is so funny... Just before your video I watched another girl's video where she was telling to basically do everything you are advising against. Like, stay in Kuta for cheaper price, don't worry about cash cause there're ATMs everywhere, get a tour on such and such beach hahaha. Thank you though! Ive traveled a lot and I know that the stuff youre saying is real! So, thank you again. This priceless info!
Scammed 3k? Omg.
The best thing to do is "don't travel" It's all bullshit now. Too expensive, too many traps and to many tourists. I'm finished with it. Easy to say for me because I live in the Philippines. So why would I go on a holiday....I live in a holiday. 😅
come on, not using cash is impossible at street food vendors or smaller businesses! cash is very important for locals and their businesses. But if you just want to go to the touristy bule spots, yes yes you can use cards overall. With everything else i mostly agree:) this is just an updated friendly recommendation for them humans who want to experience bali at its finest<3 lessss goo: 1. definetely be wary of too nice offers, especially dont trust job offers which are too good to be true, in the beginning, if you plan to stay and try to find work (& aint a cash bag). -> connect with people who have been there longer and have more experience in that niche. 2. ALWAYS wear a helmet. 3. dont use the first option of transport at airport, be courageous and walk away from the pushy first offers e.g to the designated grab/ gojek spots or the motorbike parking space. DONT try to use the public transport buses. then get a ride. /// kuta definety is the typical touristyyy -getting instant tats and cornrows vibe- scene especially at legian street/seminyak and hotel resort streets. but kuta is just really busy, doesnt mean its a bad place to stay, when you want to be flexible and near to the airport, and its a perfect epicentre to go to the south, east and north (ulu, canggu, nusadua, sanur,,,, depending on traffic hahahahah ,,,,) /// 4. if you drive a motorbike you always need small change for parking (at grocery shops or public places or beach entry venues to parking) because they expect that this fee will be payed, bcs they have people helping parking or other reasons its mostly between 1000- 3000 rp. 5. tourists get other prices than locals but if you know and visit a place more often, and you have a good relation, also try to speak the language, they could give you a friendly price over time. 6. hikes are beautiful but also sacred on the volcanoes, respect that! & the hot springs are not worth it. 7. try the local wine (anggur merah) mixed with beer its yum. + and add some garlic peanuts (kacang w/ bawang) -- my fav tip ;) 7. learn the words „no thank you" = "tidak terima kasih" in Bahasa Indonesia: it is more polite to say it when vendors approach you, but also try to ignore them after their reaction. 8. !!!Oh yes the helmet thing is a big thing; always bring it with you cause even if you secure it under the seat, people will cut it off at the fabric securing leash part, because the worth replacing it ismuch more less than the worth of the whole helmet....some tips, open for critics <3 Beci
This just seems to be pretty common knowledge don't trust strangers and watch out for phishing Scam basically.
Still wierd you preset that you use
25 Doller to much per night
how stupid can be a person going into the world, nobody pays for phone tax hahah thats so stupid
i stayed in kuta for a month just got back...everything was fine had no problems but i see this video is 3 years old im guessing things have changed alot
For some who is free to travel and work, I find your last comment on cash hypocritical. The locals not the hotels would much rather you use cash, it also gives you great bargaining power, tipping and hilarious interaction with true Balinese. You promote cashless yet when "we lose cash we lose our freedom" and you will be vlogging from your "15 minute city"
You could do better kid
I think im going to just stay home in CALI.
You missed out adding WhatsApp
Good points!
Why do you hit the camera? It is so annoying.
thank you for all the useful information, much apprecaited.. :)
I’m solo traveling Bali next week and you def have the best vid:)
Awesome information, thank you!
Anyone teaching remotely from Bali or just using videocalls a lot ? I wonder how bad the connectivity and blackout issues are. Is mobile data a reliable backup option? How often do power outages happen?
I would say , bring cash with you !!! You really need cash in Bali
Obviously you are new to Bali boy. Bali is safe.
