I like the changes for the remake but seriously i concider it a reboot at this rate and not a REMAKE! FF XVI on the other hand use hack and slash combat but it felt more of game of thrones than Final Fantasy. Look at ff 1 its has a space station as a second to last dungon of the game FF iv the final dungeon takes place on the freaking moon.

Not gonna lie surprised you even made it this far, so many times I've seen great world exposition and writing be unfortunately shoved into mediocre or below projects and this was no different, such a shame but like I learned with Kojima, just because a big name or a high quality studio works on a project doesn't mean you can expect what you got before. It's one of the main things I worry about regarding Alan Wake 2. Hopefully Arkane go back to drawing board and look at the games that they truly succeeded on and further enhance those aspects, also feel maybe we might get a quicker return to Dishonored franchise, or with the increased popularity in System Shock and potential announcement of a new Bioshock, a sequel to Prey.
