Putting together the Halo SOCOM (prop) Pistol
Damn thats no fun. I had a anycubic that loved to do this. I get fed up one day and used pva clear elmers glue for the the knobs. Doesnt take much but will still allow you to adjust the knob but will have a bit more grip.
I'm thinking of just sliding something small under the knobs, just to hold them there
I like turtles + I would not do full reprint just find layer it broke on and print that and glue
@ANormalCoconut i would do that if I was keeping it for myself, but it's for my etsy shop, and I want a quality piece to go out
@bananakin5225 yea probably better to do full reprint then
@ANormalCoconut it does suck a bit, though because I'm already 5 days behind. I'll give the customer a coupon code for my shop. Hopefully, they understand
@@bananakin5225 sounds fair
i have a neptune 4
What's your favorite print to come off of it?
That’s awesome bro, how did you get the files? Or did you make them?
@@granat4659 I subscribe to Galactic armorys patreon. He has a lot of great stuff!
Epitome of nerdom. Where’d you get the shirt btw?
@@Ms.Mamabean walmart
@bananakin5225 hell yeah.
Awesome looks great man
I’d almost save some filament and not print the grips and then wrap the grips with leather preferable from a beloved targ
It would've been a lot easier, but it was a display piece and I had to upscale it 600%. The original size was about the size of a pencil
Dude you guys rock!!!
I've never really been into dnd or anything like fantasy but I knew how to donate on yt I would but all I can do for now is sub and like and ask what the name of your podcast is
Legends of luck and lore. Its actually on my TH-cam page . And I would love to answer any questions about DND on the podcast, if you want to send them.
Nice work 💪🏻
The falling thing was loose DnD condition markers. th-cam.com/video/GGR3-hzGVuE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ccqNHvJ8dVwPYj5V And I'm using the neptune 3 max, so it was 2 pieces, shield and dragon head.
I hope that wasn't the scraps jar, that happened to me 3 years in and it was on carpet... it was devastating. Also, absolutely sick dragonhead, and at a fine print, that's dedication - how many parts did you have to print it in?
Them: the nozzle Goblin isn't real, it can't hurt you. The Nozzle Goblin:
Pretty good
I need more!!!
Where did you get those cups!!!
Stlflix, just haven't printed many
Larry!!!😢
First comment
you’ll get it brother, sucking at something is the first step to being great at it. can’t wait to see what you print.
I've been 3d printing for 3 years...... but you're right. We learn through failure
Ahh that's a rip, but you should be using the correct settings for whatever filament you want to use.
😢 sorry man
Exellent ! Stl? Where? Thanks!! 🙂🖖🇦🇷
@latintrampolin was on thingivers but was the size of a pencil. Upscale it 450% I think and cut it into 4 pieces. Printed on my elegoo neptune 3 max
That’s cool I hope this is still going well
Hope it goes well I’ll support you all the way
Dude, thats amazing!
That thing is bad ass.
Nice I love the helmets keep up the good work!
Cool, looks awesome! May the force be with you!
Yeah welcome to 3d printing just imagine it was way deeper into the print and it died way more filament waste try recycling it. I’m glad you learned lol.
It wouldn't have been as upsetting if I would've remembered to turn on "resume print" but oh well
good luck, lad
Yes
Retracts are not good calibrated...
I see that the lines under the brow of the helmet are flawless. My X1C can not print those perfectly, they're terrible. Did you have any issues with this print you had to overcome?
th-cam.com/users/shortsUhvIgltnM5k?si=vtGly91FSqQ8MbdQ
I can relate to putting printers in time out and oddly enough it works
hey im also making techs helmet from the bad batch and was wondering if you used supports to print the glasses if so which ones?
On build plate only, grid, I want to say 35 degree over hang? Laid on the front face. I'll get time lapse up and share the link
th-cam.com/users/shorts83sXJvf6A4Y?si=w-fpH5m__xHcJToe
@@bananakin5225 thanks :)
did you print it with resin or pla?
PETG filament
I really enjoyed the bad batch series
Bro make a helmet that fits
Padding will make it fit. Lol
Looks sick af 🦾🦾
Subscribing just to see this one is finished. Super cool
Calling me out. Lol. I'll have to finish it if I don't sell it
@@bananakin5225 Woops. I meant subscribing to see *when this is finished. Love Helldivers so would be super cool to see it finished. Or even partially finished really.
Disgrace of a man who lives his life in stagnation surrounding himself with consumerism and materialistic objects why do you not wish better for yourself
Bro, please sleep a few hours!
Slept like 5 ish
I really love this. I don't have a 3d printer, but someday I want one, and this will be a super cheap solution to a common problem.
Bruh who you kiddin, you don't sleep.
Given the fact I'm in college, work part time and and trying to make printing a business. You're very right
Genius
First
It's amazing, how often does it fail though?
I had just moved it, but I was also in a rush leveling it. I took my time and we'll see
Sand off the base and glue it onto a metal or wood base and sell for a premium
Ps the holes in the top look cool in the video, kinda weathered to go with the skull
I can try it. But I'll sell at a local market instead of etsy
It's just frustrating for a print to fail
You should do something about that cable skirt maybe put some filament through to stiffen it up
I ended up putting a bungee cable on it on day two because it was catching, but i am looking for a permanent solution
@@bananakin5225 there's a printable cable sleeve on printables for the sv06 that you could probably adapt to your printer iv also been working on a printable zero wear cable chain and ill post that on printables if you want to try it
cant hear you bro
Yeah, I have roommates, try not to bother them. But I could hear myself with the volume all the way up
