I was wondering if human is the only species or the only mammalian who can be frozen at its single or multi-cell stage, then after unfreezing it come back to life? Also wondering if you could do the same with my sperms? I also studied some anatomy of female reproductive organs and realized that is impossible to reach the follicles to retrieve the cells unless you cut it open under the microscope, how do you do that? If you can not answer the above questions, you are FAKING it. Thank you in advance

I didn't sleep during my retrieval. I had intravenous pain relief and some paracetamol. All I really felt was the needle going in. After the initial puncture your not really aware of whats going on other than some pressure.

This lady is a champ!!! How does it not hurt?? I’m guessing from the local anesthesia? I am starting IVF in a few months and I’m so nervous about the egg retrieval. The doctor I’m going to uses twilight sedation but I’ve heard some women can still be awake during it. I have no clue what to expect. Hopefully if I’m awake I handle it like this lady! What a great doctor she has too.

Ohh you are lucky girl I just had egg retrieval they sedated me but I felt so much sharp pain and iam still in pain it was that bad that I couldn’t concentrate what’s on the monitor😢

What do you mean by minimum stimulation? As in she didn’t need much medication during the stim process due to a male factor possibly? I’m wondering because I’m afraid of receiving anesthesia and I am doing ivf due to my husband having a SCI. They have told me it is their standard procedure for me to be fully sedated, but I would prefer to be awake. Thanks for this information!

Hi doctor! Thank you for the video. I'm 32 and recently did traditional IVF and ended up retrieving 30 eggs. My partner has low motility (4%) and morphology (0.5%), but 23 of the eggs were successfully fertilized by ICSI. We ended up with 10 blastocysts, but I had to cancel the fresh transfer because my condition after the retrieval was not good. We decided to do DNA testing and found out that out of the 10 blastocysts, only one was genetically normal. Most of them had a "Chaotic Aneuploidy." I was surprised by the lack of normal embryos. Would you recommend mini IVF in my case and is there a possibility of producing higher-quality eggs through this method?

I have to have this procedure soon .. due to my medical condition I cant be under general anthesia due to flare ups . Im scared because i tend to be fidgity and tense up . Also my husband had a reversal vasectomy last year in June and had start trying for a baby in late August until now but no luck with baby. Doctor said everything is fine . Never thought I would be down this road . I'M SCARED ABOUT THE PAIN TOLERATE . HOPE I CAN BE CALM LIKE THIS LADY AND HAVE A GREAT DOCTOR LIKE HIM THAT TALKS TO ME THROUGH IT.
