This was the first song I listened to when I discovered your TH-cam channel. These deserve more attention.
It initially gave me Silent Hill vibes and then it entered into a winding, whimsical territory. It sounded hopeful in a beautiful way❤
I love it, so whimsical and mysterious. I’m curious what your aim was here, cuz this sounds fitted for a forest ruins stage.
@@pyrodoxgx8 that might sound weird but i choose track titles before i compose music. So i tend to drift away from the goal in the process. Ig i wanted something relatively dark & cold sounding but i might not have picked the proper synths for that. Also i think shakuhachi & mallets are very rainforest-coded in video games. i also wanted to make something relatively quickly so it's more repetitive than usual.

@@pyrodoxgx8 Well i knew it would sound like video game music (everything i make does apparently but even more so) but i didn't intend to make rainforest BGM although i kinda rolled with it with all the ornaments on the shakuhashi impro
