You’re filtering on the wrong lanes, mate.
He was filtering ok on that street. What is he supposed to do? Sit in traffic behind an exhaust fume? And take up valuable space of another tractor? Pedestrians were on the pavement - not the road! I understand the pen is mightier than the sword but the traffic was ‘stationary’! He didn’t overtake on the zebra crossing - he’d already passed the car before he came upon the crossing. And exactly where did he ‘force oncoming traffic to change direction’ and drive closer to whom? He was following the lead bike. Specsavers anyone?! And don’t you think those cars were too big for that small village?
42 in a 30? You shouldn’t be filtering like that in that street, too many people around and stationery traffic. Overtaking on a zebra crossing as well. You’re also forcing oncoming traffic to change direction and drive closer to the pedestrians on the other side of the road. You need to take a long hard look at your riding.
TUT TUT TUT IT SEEMS THAT YOU ARE A BIT OF A HYPOCRITE MY MAN. RIDING OVER CHEVRONS OVERTAKING ON ZIG ZAGS ON A CROSSING. NOT SO PERFECT AFTER ALL.
Wonder how many ev will be around when as old as this?
Can’t imagine any. Those batteries are the biggest problem. Unless they pack the size of the battery to what they are now!
Bro is driving a GS yet no one can see him 😂
all dawn comensence👍💯👀
Stop crying, be a man.🤣
Filtering is legal, however overtaking the lead vehicle on the crossing is not, he shouldn't have been there.
I swear it's illegal to filter? You had no right being there in the first place
filtering in the UK is perfectly legal, please use Google before making rediculous comments :)
Filtering in the UK is legal, and advised by riding instructors. What he did wrong in this video, was filtering at a crossing. That is not legal.
@GottaLovePanda fair enough thankyou for educating me I don't normally do stupid things like this so I appreciate your comment so I can reflect on my idiocy
@@joshhughes1852 no idiocy👍🏼 not everyone knows but it's good to know for future!
is it your first moto? you totally can't drive in traffic. At times I was afraid the car would hit you. Be safe.
Title of the video is wrong. The way you're filtering / lane splitting is actually pretty dangerous and unpredictable.
This is how NOT to filter safely. You should filter in the slow lanes. Carpool/fast lanes ONLY.
Bro you need to be in the carpool lane it’s way safer and people are more likely to move over for you and you just have to worry about 1-2 lanes instead of multiple plus. It’s just way safer. I was told that by my motorcycle instructor years ago when I was 16 and he had been riding for 30+ years. Stay safe !
This dude is just batshit crazy
the way you split lanes is everything you should not do. Just get on the HOV lane bro and stop messing about. And if you do filter, just do it between the hov and lane 1 where not a lot of people switch lanes between. You're filtering between lanes 2 and 3 where lots of people switch lanes between for no reason.
Points noted. The speed vehicles travel in hov, I’m uncomfortable in. I’d be having cars up my back expecting me to move over!! There’s also the unbroken white lines, which I assume you’re not meant to use to filter in, as opposed to the broken white lines in the other lanes. Also, i suppose I’m used to the uk rules where we stick to the lane which is nearest to the side, (which i know is not the way it is in the usa!). For me, this is the comfort zone.
@@toqirdarIndeed.I am from Europe also and pressure to move from back traffic,is huge. They consider you the underdog, that is always moving,if you stop, they immediately push to move.
@@EndritBs exactly.. And being in the outside lane (hov over here), the cars behind put a great deal of pressure on you to keep moving. I understand the speed limit is 65mph here but cars behind me are obviously doing much quicker than that. So I tend to stick in the other lanes, where I can adjust and alter the speed. the fact is one can just use filtering to get ahead. which is why I ride bikes. Don't want to hang around in traffic, and the 110 Interstate is notorious for traffic jams, but alleviated by their wide lanes, i just love to filter. We don't get these wide-size lanes in the uk or europe Ifrom my limited experience there).
SoCal traffic makes riding a bike a necessity not a hobby or luxury in my opinion. How would you rate the Tracer as a daily commuter?
I'm not from California. I'm from London. As an outsider, I love riding bikes here in SoCal. For me, it's to do with the weather and the relaxed atmosphere. I ride the bike as a hobby. I commute to the mountains north of LA, and there just isn't enough time to see everything. And then I travel back to Central LA. I love the twisties, and coming back on Interstate 110 - the motorways are ideal. The Tracer does its job. It's a nice bike and works well as a touring bike as well as being 'punchy'.
thats awesome dude :D
Thanks. It’s a bikers’ paradise out here
Kenne ich auch
What bike is it?
It’s the Yamaha tracer 900. Hired bike. Almost brand new. Loved it
That sounds so nice going through the gears 😮💨😮💨
Yes, it’s like music!
A real beauty 😀
tthats from London to M2?
London A406 north circular road to A2!
OOOHH!!! I WAS TOTALLY FORGOTTEN THIS LEGENDARY SONG!! THANKS!! GOD BLESS AND STAY SMART ON ROAD'S!❤
Good song choice
i always love to see real vintage cars still riding around... just a few months ago i saw a guy with a Citroën Mehari he restored to mint condition, had a lovely chat with him. (the Mehari is the French version of a Jeep like the one of ww2, they are quite rare.)
I have similar car that I used to do weddings in, when couples used to ask is it reliable I would look at their modern car and say "when that is holding Baked Beans this car will still be running as long as there is fuel for it"
Yes, this car has done the world tour. Remarkable.
Seen one almost the very same today GREAT too see the old timers out and about!! 👍👍
Poor little thing with its boss-eyed headlamps could do with a bit of TLC.
Incredible!
I'm curious how close does your head come to the ceiling on the train. The pillion rider in front of you looked very close
Hi, I didn’t notice the height. I think the images may be misleading as the camera is tilted in such a manner. I’m 5’8 and my pillion is 5’11 but the seat on the rear is much higher. Didn’t notice the rider or pillion in front. All said, there’s an easy clearance.

wow
That was wicked! When is the next vid?
Keep tuned.

Those roads are so GD narrow! I’d ride a motorbike just to have room LOL.
not sure if you’re talking about the local town roads or the rural ones - either way, yes they’re narrow!!
CPV Come & Play Vehicle... cool
enjoyed that 🤙🤙🤙🤙
Thanks. More to come soon.
Caos? 😂😂 Come to India u will know Caos
I know!! I have ridden in Asia and yes that’s organised chaos 😉. But for London, this is getting crazy as roads are being closed to stop people driving vehicles to reduce pollution. And this results in what you see here. Roads also been narrowed to allow for cyclists.
@@toqirdar tough life brother.
what kind of bike do you have?
Hi, this is the bmw gs adventure 1250.
Is this going towards the Italian boarder Please? We're there in a couple of weeks and don't fancy fighting this traffic uphill.
Yes. I was heading towards the Italian border. This was in august. There were traffic queues both ways as there were roadworks going on where they were putting in some asphalt and only 1 lane to use. This was intermittent. I was worried about the same thing being stuck uphill. Fortunately (or maybe unfortunately) I didn’t come back the same way. Now it’s September maybe they’ve sorted the roads out.
My father in law is coming over next week, we're going riding in the Alps, including the Fluelapass. He's a bit worried, it's going to be his first time in the mountains. I'm going to show him this clip to show him it's not slash scary as it seems.
That’s great. I’m no expert in riding bikes. In fact am a novice. Had a 125cc Honda scooter for a decade and now have this big 1250cc. Was my first time in the alps. Rode from France through Switzerland and what surprised me was the time to get over the alps (from Switzerland to Italy). It took nearly 3 hours to cover 50 miles. But breathtaking views. The thing that concerned me was riding uphill with sharp bends and there were occasions when we had to queue uphill and for me that was nerve-racking. Wishing you the best and I think there’s nothing to worry about.
Great video, don’t bother blurring your number plate mate, no one’s that bothered and you don’t need to blur everyone’s face out, even passport control. They are public servants you are ok to have their face on camera. I never blur anything out.
Thanks for the suggestions.
@@toqirdar keep up the good work, great entertaining videos 👍🏻
I got the same bike it’s the best 125cc moped
I agree. I've not long got a 2008 one of these and it's great.
@@sleepyrasta420 nice mine is 2011. Wish it weren’t discontinued and they kept on making these
Thanks. I would love to do this on my GSA.
Assalammualaikum bossman..... I really impreess your trip with a great bike.. Awesome drive tour along the way it’s look very beautiful be safe travels
Walaikam Salam. Thank you
MashahAllah beautiful bike bro
thank you, brother.
Just watched this and all your previous traveling to France vids. I think you would call them "warts and all", very entertaining.
Thanks. It didn’t start out that way …! Hope you enjoy - more to follow.
I just got one of these yesterday great moped. I was wondering if the headlight is always meant to be on mine is on and i cant seem to turn it off. Also what does the right button do under the fuel gauge?
Good bike. The light is meant to stay on. Not sure what that button under the fuel gauge does. It may be a mode for the one on the left when changing the clock.
Yeah it is a great bike love it. Great for getting around the city and it's pretty quick off the line too for a 125. Thanks i wasn't sure about the light and yeah I think you're right, the button is for the clock.
