CJ5 Rig Overview
มุมมอง 38K4 ปีที่แล้ว
1973 jeep cj5 walk around and overview. Sorry about the wind and focus on the camera! it will only get better from here! Thanks for watching!
Do you still gave your jeep? Hows it going with it? Im dealing with the back spacing issue on my 76' CJ7 as well. I was wondering, how close are your tires to the frame rails in the back now?
What exhaust is on there? It sounds terrific!
Se ve genial ese cj5
Beautiful and amazing, it's 1real mean street legal machine....❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Nice CJ. I have a 72.
I have a 74 C J 5 and you are totally Wrong it is a Blast to drive I’ve been working on Willys pick ups and J 4000 since 1978 it’s a Jeep Thing
What carburetor did you go with?
Very nice!!!!
Great looking CJ. Are those wheels 15x8 or 15x10 wheels?
I just bought a 1973 CJ5 last week, so finding a channel where someone is working on the exact same vehicle I am. Looking good so far, and I am looking forward to future videos.
Are your jeep wheels 15x10"? Nice rig bro 👏👏💪💪
The make tubs in India now , that fit better than mdjuan
Did the fenders come from the Philippines also ?
You are a Genius. I absolutely loevd your video. Your Jeep is great and I apprciate your honesty on handling, and things you would improve. Thanks to you, I will be able to improve my Jeep CJ 5 issues. Appreciate your video much!
Hey...what product did you use for your interior and exterior?
Ur jeep is beautiful 👌
Awesome build but if you drive old vehicles you have to work on em If you off road em you have to work on em.........in my humble opinion It's worth every penny
It will be your problem if they turn into you.
There won't be much original remaining when yer done.
I like the subtle paint scheme and overall look. Nothing day - glo or excessively chromed.
Bad brakes? It's a _real_ Jeep.
I've read ALOT of horror stories with the reproduction tubs. I need a late CJ5. You said it all lined up decently. So all the body mounts lined up well? Just looking for feedback as I need to order a body as well. Thanks
Great video look forward to your upgrades I just recently picked up a 79 cj7 auto pretty clean but all stock except has a 4in lift on it
I’M not absolutely identical. What did you say…come on man. Do you even know what you are saying?
Great video!
no door hinges no plate light but good job
You should say 'you guys' more.
Looks good
Nice! I got a 79 CJ7
Which company did you go with for these rims?
Nice Jeep looks great I have a 1980 CJ5 they're a lot of fun if you can fit in it
What if your 6ft tall where your knees going to sit in the dash
rear fender well cut out modification.
Very well kept fun machine.
Looks like the body need to be positioned forward about an inch and a half. The centerline of the wheel well and tire centerline don't match up, so... I could be wrong but looks like a lot of rubbing is going to chew up your back tire, yo.
We made sure the body was positioned correctly. With the Cjs suspension it managed to swing back and up so I completely clear from hitting there.
Are the axles the stock axles?
Stock Dana 30 and 44!
Where did you get the dash pad, been looking for one on my 73
I got the gps Speedometer off Amazon!
What’s that color on the body.
It’s a Matte gun metal gray!
Saludos desde Paraguay, tengo uno igual una gran maquina, me encantan las ruedas de tu jeep saludos
where are you from bro?
Minnesota!
I have a 77 cj5 so keep the videos coming! Looks great nice work.
Mason nice wheels, can you share how to find the rings and the holes pattern, I have a CJ5 1063
Where are you located
Minnesota!
I want to own a CJ5 so bad. I also live in Minnesota so it’s truly an inspiration to see someone actually own one in the harsh conditions this state can throw at you. Keep up the awesome videos man.
Thanks! Yeah I don’t drive it on the road in the winter! But I enjoy it in ever other season!
Good morning. Great project, looks very good all over. Question: will it be possible to get a few pictures of the clutch linkage? I’m trying to put my 74 CJ5 together but cannot figure out how to reinstall the clutch system. Greatly appreciated (818) 645-4525. Congratulations on your great project
If you follow me on my Instagram at 73_cj5 I can throw up a story about it there!!
I have a '72 I'm getting prepared to rebuild after sitting for about 10 years. Going to be doing some similar things to it, definitely 35s (up from 33s), replace the lifts, and can't decide to rebuild the original 304ci or go with a Chevy small block and either go with paint or something like the Rhino/Raptor liner.
one of the best things you can do is get the parts and weld or bolt bracket onto frame and get rid of the silly cable clutch they put in ‘72 and install linkage. mine snapped too many cables but was great for years after that. i’m just now building a ‘74 factory 304
Nice walk around. Very tasteful restomod. Keep up the content. 🤜🏼🤛🏼
Very nice your cj5
Hand it down to your kids in 50 years. Sure , the way your generation votes it will be a doorstop. No gasoline, all petroleum banned, harm to the environment just from farting....good luck with that.
Haha that’s the way it seems….
Una belleza de jeep, tengo uno igual en Paraguay, muy bello saludos
CJ 5s are my favorite classic Jeeps, nice job.
