​@@vickieladdie8412 *How I got here* So I grabbed the terminator E-tank, early supers, charge beam, crossed moat (collecting moat missles in the process), then I killed Phantoon, grabbed wreck ship west supers, grabbed gravity, and gravity jumped Ridley's moat surviving with 18 energy before refilling health, going through WRITG and now I'm fighting Rodney with 199 max health. *what I'm missing* Basically, the only items I'm missing are Varia (to survive MB) and some combination of energy tanks and reserve tanks. *why I did it* I NEED to grab the E-tank after Botwoon, so I thought, I'd take the post Ridley Tank, kill Kraid and head toward Draygon.

@@thewindwakinghero7423 You made me look for any of my notes and I actually found a pastebin of my route from like 3 years ago! pastebin.com/hKmQhViP I can't pretend to know what's good about alternate paths or not I simply do not have enough research on my belt (not to mention it's been a while) so I hope this helps your situation!

@vickieladdie8412 I manages to do the Ridley stuck glitch.... I don't have any powerbombs to free him to end the fight.

Thanks. It's definitely not for everyone, especially with this game in particular hard punishing you with unskippable in-fight cutscenes (kinda sucks on repeat playthroughs). I almost didn't do the run at all because some fights wasted a lot of time with that and was a total momentum killer. I wonder if future PC mods will alleviate that lol. Ironically I'm actually not a big fan of speedrunning! I wouldn't dismiss what you're capable of and if you ever care to try in the future with any game I'm sure you can pull it off :D At the very least if you don't believe I'll believe for you!

I doubt it. I felt like I did this pretty late compared to others who have uploaded.

She's honestly a joy to fight. Thanks friend! Maybe it was the paranoia in me I think I got clipped twice by a ground aoe (perhaps by unfortunate timing or I messed up somewhere) in practice and decided to just not deal with it and get a few extra potshots in. I come at moves with the mentality that if anything goes wrong or has different timings I usually prefer backing off instead which is what you see me do with the fatals for example. Sometimes for me personally I like to free up mental space by not handling it xD.

@@vickieladdie8412 I'm coming back to 16 for the DLC's and I saw that they added a bunch of new controller schemes, was wondering if there was something worth checking out in that regard

@@Themaro Oh! I personally didn't bother but maybe there's a setup you prefer with the new schemes. I know switching from playing soulslikes to this felt weird at first so maybe you can come up with something that doesn't feel like it would clash with your muscle memory.

I'm not about to suggest what you should do with yourself but one day if you ever came back to the fight and beat it, I would be very proud of you regardless.
