Moisturising Natural Hair

Hey, This video demonstrates how I moisturise my 4c hair. Doing this often has certainly helped me retain a lot of length, that's because moisturised hair is less likely to break than dry hair. Here I use the LOC method, where: L (liquid) is a mixture of aloe vera juice and tea tree oil, and a leave-in conditioner O (oil) is castor oil C (cream) is shea butter The whole process takes less than ...

Hey! This video shows how I made the clay wash I used in the last video. It’s inspired by @greenbeauty Bentonite clay has a high absorption rate, so it removes oily build-up from hair and scalp. It also removes toxins! It leaves hair feeling soft and moisturised. Finger Detangle with me | For Extremely Matted Natural Hair |
มุมมอง 13K4 ปีที่แล้ว
Hey! I had totally played myself by leaving my hair unattended for months and months (I don't recommend this but I had a good reason, trust me!). This is how I safely and thoroughly finger detangle my long, thin 4c natural hair when it is super matted and seemingly hopeless. I used water, castor oil, a conditioner with slip, and my fingers! It took forever but eventually my hair was thoroughly ...

    Naturally Nica a you tuber has a detangling method that works for low and high porosity. With me being high porosity I don’t use a shower cap , I just give the hair time to stretch with water and grape seed oil.Then detangle. Check out her channel.

    I’ve been experiencing with finger detangling but I feel like at some point I’m gonna have to run a comb through my hair because I don’t want my hair to look this matted. It’s really not a flattering look. It’s one thing to have long hair, but what’s the point of having long hair if you can’t enjoy the look of it.

    • @mmabathotshivhase1523
      @mmabathotshivhase1523 ปีที่แล้ว

      So true! Agree with everything you’ve said. No point! If you stay on top of your regimen (if it includes regular moisturising and washing, etc) then your hair won’t look like this. Then you can enjoy your long hair…

    We literally have the same routine! And it took me awhile to develop it, but I noticed drastic improvements in my hair health and retainment. (If you don't touch you ends, you can't break them) Who knew? Also, I did not know that you don't have to undo the hair completely to moisturize it. Spritzing it while it's in whatever style works just fine. This idea needs to be shared more. Good for you.

    Wow! I think I'm gonna integrate some of your tips in my detangling session, primarily to stop when I get frustrated and pick it back up later. This method actually calms me down; I can get this done over a multiple days. I like that there's no rush. But, I actually have to do this, so wish me luck!

      Hey, I don’t know how many twists I have in this video. However, currently my hair is in 14 twists. My hair is always in twists as that is part of my current regimen, every four weeks I detangle and wash, etc. It doesn’t take as long to detangle as it did here (thank God!) because I keep my hair moisturised (and twisted!).

    Why you don’t use à steamer or oil or both to detangle your hairs. They look si dry

    • @mmabathotshivhase1523
      @mmabathotshivhase1523 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I used water and a conditioner with slip for each section, so that sorted out the dryness. I could’ve used oil to aid further with slip but I usually use it to seal the moisture in or alone when dry detangling. Might try your suggestion when/if I get a steamer though, thanks😉

      Her hair looks health to me unless you mean her strands length is stringy which is because New roots length and also you could have small coils Circumference/ diameter around in size which it's called tight coils.. I try not to make complicate to understand the terms but the easy way to explain coil hair is small ⭕️ circle strands of hair that strands in like a coil if your strand is medium/ fine when you braid it the strands gather together it looks that it have less density than it is.
