I think this will be a birthday present to myself next year or the following. How many of the 6 days is actual fishing days. I'm expecting us to run out of steam within a day or two pulling those beautiful fish.
My friends and I just can’t seem to land a big doggie. We’ve hooked many but can’t get em in the boat. What is the ideal set up pls help.

I know this is one of the best lures in the world for GT's and I am definitely not expert but this looks like a very unstable lure. It has huge body roll and seems that you have to work it very slowly so that it doesn't spin. I'm interested in your reply.
Hard to understand without using one with a half decent rod, as Brandon says - timing is everything. Don't expect to be able to rip it through the water willy nilly, you need to be concentrating to use it but the pay off is pretty massive once you see just how much you can adjust the movement/swim of them. I recommend picking up a Gamma 60 or Gamma 90 depending on your setup, definitely good to have at least one.
Gammas are definitely finicky and love quieter water. And compared to something like a stickbait meant for a tuna that’s going to have a tight wiggle and be more upright, the gamma has more of a deliberate left to right action as they swim which GTs love.
