Will this liquid calcium improve my lawn?
Absolutely! Feel free to call 833-247-4832 or visit our website and we can get you in contact with a soil advisor :)
Where can one find this calcium ??
Make your own. Toast eggshells, crush and add to apple cider vinegar. Let sit for a week. Dilute with water. Easy.

but for calcium to be in solution it needs an acid? also, the often touted gold standard of soil ph is 6.5 however, you can have a neutral/basic soil that desperately needs calcium. you also see lemons growing perfectly well on lands with primarily calcitic soil. what's the real deal witj calcium? should (sink tub) fertilizer solutions for indoor plants be ph adjusted to 6.5 to make the fert more available?
I’ll replay this to catch the knowledge .
So glad we could help!
Enjoyed the first! I am putting down some Nitromaxx in a few days. How long should I wait for my next soil test?
Hi there! We recommend that you test again in late summer, but you can always get in contact with one of our local soil advisors for more personalized recommendations. So glad you liked our first episode!
That’s my uncle and I think that spray is really cool and it helps our beans and corn and rye
Could I use this on my yard with a backpack sprayer?
How many pods per plant were on the dap and potash field?
can I in furrow this on soybeans?
Nice
Depends what the calcium is. If calcium carbonate then yes. If calcium sulphate then No. Its the carbonate that increases pH not calcium.
It did raise our calcium levels in the soil, but had no movement in acidity levels over two years at recommended rates. Visually improved hay fields, but not in soybean or corn fields on our soils in western PA.
Thanks
How about just growing grass like Bermuda?
Works great!
Can you use calcium oxide?
Calcium chelate is what we use to raise pH.
Thank you
I am confused
Right.
Sorry for the confusion! This customer had 2 different plots. One for granular fertilizer and one for AgriTec's fertilizer. The cost comparison is as follows: Conventional Fertilizer Program: Urea: 169 lbs/acre DAP: 250 lbs/acre Potash: 450 lbs/acre TOTAL COST: $446.69 AgriTec's Application Program: 25-0-0 Triazone 5 gal/acre 10-20-10+ (w/Aerate): 5 gal/acre TOTAL COST: $163.50 The AgriTec program was significantly cheaper than the granular and the AgriTec program yielded equal or better results.
I have stuck with conventional dry fertilizer in my vineyards have also done the same with vegetables have found liquid fertilizers to be less effective across the board and tend to leach out and not actually get taken up by the plants @@agritecint
Is this liquid calcium the same calcium that tractors have in their tires for weight?
No
Do spray at seeding or after plants emerge
Insightful
Thank you!
Please post links to related studies published in peer-reviewed journals.

You act like there's peer reviewed studies for everything and that that is a safe metric to follow. 😂
Great stuff. Thanks.
Thank you!
'promo sm' 🌺
Thanks for the lesson. Knowledge is power!
Thank you!
What about using both. With maize in Zimbabwe, we are telling farmers go in with 10-23-23 and other cereal blends and later go in with foliar spreys. We can get them through the pivot and fertigation or chemigators
A lot of our customers do use both! There are some great benefits to liquid like not needing special equipment, easier to manage, goes to work faster, etc.
Well done...
Thanks!
Thx for the info...
Thank you!
So we no longer have to wait 6months-year for limestone to raise our pH!? Wow! That’s awesome
Calcium won’t do much for ph

Best non scientific, graphic explanation this soil layman has ever heard. Thanks!
Thank you!
Hi guys. Thanks for interesting video. You could probably try to improve sound quality, can be helpful 😊
Thanks for the feedback!
Appalled your work but you should not ever plant a monocrop. Next time try Rye grass and a pollinator with your clover. AND I absolutely love AgriTec products. Well done.
Thank you for the insight!
Micronutrients are very important like copper it actually keeps tar spot away
Gardeners should always mail samples to get a professional soil test evaluation. It is always pronounced cat-eye-on.
How much does that cost
@@12degreesnowman11 Online labs are $15 to $40 with many in tbe 20s. They are a relatively new thing. Your state university has been doing local soil testing for many decades. Each state has an associated university that is the county extension service where you can request a soil test, send them a sample and a filled out questionnaire and they send back a detailed report.
This is the best explanation 👌 , thank you !
Thank you!
There is also Anion Exchange Capacity which varies from soil to soil and is kind of not as illuminated a subject, even though phosphate, nitrate, sulfate etc are anions and indispensable for any crop.
Which is more important?
@@utubedude2842 Like arms and legs both are important. Albeit AEC is generally ignored. Both capacities can be increased by increasing soil organic matter and keeping the pH neutral. Its easier said than done.
soil needs its daily vitamins like we do
Do you have to put down lime if you use advance cal
What all you put down and how did you put it down
For the soybean program he put down: 2 gallons of Advanced-Cal per acre 4 gallons of 3-18-18+ per acre 1.5 gallons of 25-0-0 Triazone per acre Corn program: 2 gallons Advanced-Cal per acre 5 gallons 3-18-18+ per acre 10 gallons 25-0-0 Triazone per acre 4 gallons Nitro-Maxx+ per acre Alfalfa program: 2 gallons Advanced-Cal per acre 4 gallons 3-18-18+ per acre 4 gallons Nitro-Maxx+ per acre
Thank youuu this help me a bunch
Thank you!
