Running the Northern Circuit with some of the Waikato Trail runners. Weather started misty with light rain but cleared into a stunning day!

Jan 2024 with Cynthia and our Kinloch friends the Brett’s. Walk 6km from the Desert Rd carpark to Waihohonu Hut, stay the night and return the next day.

Northern Circuit adventure. The weather was a bit questionable so a good chance to try out some warmer gear and waterproofs.

I ran my first Goat Adventure Run in 2023 as part of my build up to the Ring of Fire in March this year. A beautiful challenging course. Good climbing keeps you honest but the rocky terrain is what I found most challenging!
