CEO Vlog 5: An update
The title says it all.
Recently things have gone pretty well. We've signed on more clients and pulled in more revenue this month than any other month. We had the goal of reaching $5k/mo in revenue and we met it, so the next goal is $15,000 in revenue. We're running ads, working more, and taking the next steps towards growth.
For now, I've concluded that it makes more sense to just post these sporadically, otherwise I end up posting a video about nothing interesting. I'd rather wait until I've done a few things that I can make a video about than try to force a video out every week.
So, until the next one...

Up until this point I've been doing a rather poor job of generating leads. If you've seen any of the short form videos that I've posted, you've probably noticed that this is the case and you most likely would agree. So in this video, I'm showing what it looks like behind the scenes. This is the fourth vlog like this that I'm posting, and I'm hoping to show my thought processes and the things th...

Up until this point I've been putting in half the effort for the content on this channel because I haven't seen any results from it... NO S#IT! @@ryantylerpayton again no hate but honestly it seems like you are focusing way too much time on the “instagram side of business” if that makes sense. I still have no idea what your business even sells, the product/service you are selling needs to be your main concern right now. Genuinely good products/services will eventually sell themselves, but you need that business to be sound before shifting attention to marketing/employees/even logistics

    • @ryantylerpayton
      @ryantylerpayton 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Again, the most recent post explain that priority number one is to generate leads and get clients. I don't really share what I'm selling here because it doesn't make sense to do that -- I'm not selling to the people who are watching the videos on this channel. The product/service has been tested for the last year, and I'm sure it's a good fit because the people we've served so far have loved the service (just not the pricing, which we've fixed). Genuinely good products and services will sell themselves, you're right... but marketing is the first step to letting people know the product/service exists before you can get clients and build a good enough business to have the products/services sell themselves. You can't have a killer product/service with professionals working behind the scenes unless you have some kind of funding behind it and/or people to spread the word. What you're seeing on this channel is just what's interesting on camera, and that's why I don't post every single day. Nobody wants to watch me DM hundreds of people and revise scripts on a daily basis, they want to see the results. Please reconsider next time before leaving completely uninformed and unsolicited advice 😂

I’m 23 years old, I run a small furniture manufacturing business. I went independent about 6 months ago, and since then I have been averaging about 15k revenue per month and around 10k-12k profit. Ive realized very quickly that the true path to wealth and long term sustainable income, is not really found online. I’ve been doing business with very wealthy people for the last few years and NONE of them got rich off the internet. The trick is to sell something that almost Everyone needs or will be in the market for in the next 5 years. Undercut the competition to gain Market share. Hey Ryan, Interesting thoughts. I don't think that Gen Z entrepreneurs fail mostly based on education. I think it comes down to bad knowledge. No one wants to learn about what actually goes into a business. The basics on forming a company and building procedures. It isn't "sexy" and takes time to learn. That learning only comes from failure. Social media makes it look as if it's so easy to do and you can do it if you just "work hard". Yes hard work is needed, but you need to put the work into the right things. I think it ultimately comes down to constantly learning and gaining mentors to help you. You seem like you did that with your parents and your gf's parents. The second thing is grit. You will go down the wrong path and look back with an "oh shoot" moment. It's your ability to realize you wasted time and change paths that will benefit you which most people can't do. They get discouraged and are unable to get back up. Also keep up the work. You showed up onto my home page feed which means you will start showing up on other peoples as well!

    • @ryantylerpayton
      @ryantylerpayton 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey dude! You phrased all of that very nicely and I totally agree it comes down to bad knowledge. We saw the same thing, just seems like we described it a little differently. Ultimately I think a lack of QUALITY information is what leads to a lot of Gen Z entrepreneurs failing -- in other words bad knowledge. I also agree that determination and consistency is key in everything business related. Thanks for taking time to leave a comment!

    As a content creator I would like to say this is very true. Though once you actually starting gaining traction to your channel. You may want to increase quality in your videos. Like if you start as a shorts youtuber, you might want to try Long Form videos that may attract more people. Also don't try to spread content across several subjects, Stick to 1 or 2 things, I myself stick to Making Music and Series. Its worked better then me just making several different types of videos. Another thing is you also need the motivation to continue. I've had my fair share of low points before, but I had the motivation to keep going. You need the postive mindset to keep going. Last thing, Collaborations are a good thing, but don't make it like the only thing you do. Theres the extra advice I have, And remember "If theres a will, theres a way." - TackyTrainer2
