This option sucks. Not only it can't understand which clips are used as background and which clips are actually hidden, it doesn't even disable ALL HIDDEN clips.

If u put the captions on, then read what comes when he in this video first time says video editing

Well, 2024 is nearly over (2024 November 01 now), and I can say this --- *FORGET DaVinci for Linux.* I've been running nothing but Linux for several years now ... and after two weeks of trying and endless attempts to get help (from Blackmagic and elsewhere), *I GIVE UP.* Blackmagic is absolutely *NUTS* to not support Linux ... *BUT THEY DON'T.* So don't even waste your time. I'm totally pro-Linux, but Blackmagic has made me totally anti-Blackmagic and anti-DaVinci. I'm even going to sell all my Blackmagic cameras and gear and switch to other camera systems. Blackmagic is still a total waste of time for Linux folks circa 2025.

when i try to add light rays like he does in the video my video goes black?? i don't get it. I saw some say I need to use fusion for the title text instead but in this video it seems like he is using the edit tab just fine and able to see his video?

Recently, I started researching into glitch effects and magic mask to give my videos a better vibe. But the whole process seems quite time consuming. Would you recommend any other free video editing tools for a simpler experience? TIA.

I had problems in premiere pro and after effects to work with 4k videos thanks my 1650 gtx card, but I have a question, if I will buy SAPPHIRE Radeon RX 6600 XT NITRO+ OC 8 GB, could I be able to work with 4k videos with motion graphics? +I have 32GB ram and ryzen 5 2600 sex-core 3.4 GHz

I saw the example where it says gloom in a yellow scene and I was expecting to be able to do that specific title. A little bit disappointed to see that clip wasn't included in the tutorials :/

I've already been doing this but if movement crosses the line then good luck. Like shadows? Partial body parts? I think After Effects might have something for this. i thnk I've tried in AE and it did a pretty good job but then you have to repaint the frame in photoshop if it messes up.
