This solo is one of t he best on That Album. You definitely did a fantastic jib nailing it. I prefer Vai’s work on Eat’em and Smile. It was more raw and free.

Nice, I have to try this with your technique (not using the "rolling"-technique when you have notes on the same fret). Sounds much cleaner this way!
Thank you! With sweeping I often use the rolling technique. With alternate picking the timing is better, at least for me.

@@patrickmckay6621 Thank you! Keep practicing! Quick advice: Make sure you have a clean technique at a slow speed. As soon as that fits, increase the speed, even in large steps…

Very solid playing but if I may make a constructive comment, you have quite nice gear to play with, please consider using an audio interface to recording directly from the amp to the computer, it would make it sound 20 x better. Sub'd.
Thank you for your comment. I do have an audio interface and all the stuff to record a proper guitar signal. And you are right, it would sound much better. But on the other hand. I like this little raw videos…
