I don't think I got anything with you at that last sale, but I went back the next time he was out and got a stack of vintage Dragon magazines for $5 and a box full of really rare 1980's Play-by-mail games/paperwork for $20 - they were in one of those Nike Shoe boxes you were looking at.

In all fairness, you are doing the same thing as them. Selling games for as much as possible. I think it's find to do as long as you fix up everything you buy, but you can't really blame them for doing the same. That being said, the prices still seemed steep.

Reading the comments, why do people get upset over haggling over prices? As if you held a gun to their head and made them give you a lower price. I guarantee those same people would have no problem going to a store that has an item selling for 20 bucks and had a coupon to lower it to 15, they would use the coupon in a heart beat.

I see people looking at battery corrosion and act like its not saveable. You know even if the prongs are too far gone from corrosion, you can replace those. If I can watch a video showing how to replace them and have no issues, anyone can do it. I highly recommend if you dont, learn how to fix old consoles. They are built like tanks and very simplistic.

Most of those comps are months and months old, February, November, October.... That alone says a lot. I see slim to none true vintage there. Just stuff made to be "collectible" in the Funko Pop and Beanie Baby-arena. If you gave 3k for that, the dude who got the 3k and is no longer paying storage fees on that stuff is the winner-winner-chicken-dinner. I'm not saying you'll never sell any of it, those are nice looking toys, but the collectible value on them is basically nada. Bringing those to a vintage toy show like Toyhio or Toys For The Ages, you're going to have people looking at you like you're selling dirty diapers.
