Completely Lost : Raw POV Ride Honda GB350s.
#gb350s #motorcycleadventure #pov
Hey folks, check this out - I took my Honda GB350s on what was supposed to be a chill ride through Japan's twisty mountain roads, but I ended up getting totally lost. This raw POV video shows the whole deal - from the stunning views to the moment I nearly ate it on some random wire strung across the path. Heart was pounding, but I eventually found my way back. It's all here, the good, the bad, and the 'holy crap' moments. Join me for a legit ride where getting lost is just part of the adventure.

What a great year!, Thought I would leave you all with one last killer ride on the Honda GB350s. This was my first time on the road and I was blown away...so much fun, but the new surface and ice from the rain last night made it a slick surface for the hairpins. Lost the rear tire more than once, but lived to make the ride back down lol. Thank you all for watching Have an amazing New Year and s...

I wouldn’t usually use words like ‘epic’ to describe a ride up in the hills…but…yes, “EPIC!” seems so apt in this instance. I don’t think you’ll find to many places the GB350 can’t take you, it’s proving to be very versatile indeed. Having visited Japan during 2024 I’m finding your channel is providing fresh perspective for me. I’ll have t get back there on two wheels!
Thank you 🙏 yes, I actually debated the intro. 😂 Wasn’t sure if the ride was epic or just I felt that it was. Prior to hitting record I had been lost up in those roads for nearly 3hrs. The GB is a great machine, but have found her limitations on past rides that turned into trails. She will go with the right rubber, but the suspension isn’t geared for too much more than that. But, the bike has taken me further than I ever expected. Thank you for watching and the awesome comment! Hope to see you here someday!
BTW, where do you position yours microphone? Inside or in front of the helmet? Chest? Motor sound, road, even wet parts are acoustic present while there are no wind noises. 💯
I use a rode lav mic into a zoom H6 recorder, with a fluffy on the mic I tuck it under the seat strap. It can be hit and miss for the wind, so I usually do a test each time. When I am talking it is bluetooth direct to the Insta360X4.
Fantastic adventure! 😍 Now I understand why I fell in love with your videos so quickly, beyond just the amazing motorcycle! It’s because of our very similar values! In short: I can’t wait for the call from the dealer to say my bike has arrived / I have two Border Collies (plus three cats ☺️) / I love nature / I’m enchanted by Japanese culture / and I genuinely appreciate people who enjoy life and notice all its little details! Wishing you many more great trips … and through your professional videos, great experiences for us as well! 🙏Sorry for my poor English! Best regards!
Ahhh man Thank you so much ☺️ Feedback like this is so inspiring! Your English is great! No need to apologize 😉 I hope you love your bike as much as I do. It has really opened up a part of my soul that was sleeping for too long. Can’t imagine life without my pups! They are the reason I come home ☺️ just pure love ❤️ Thanks so much for watching 🙏 Much more to come. Off on a multi day camp ride next week!
@@RideThruJapan Even this! 😁 I love hiking and wild camping with my dogs… 🤜🤛
Wow buddy, I love it ❤ amazing view
Thanks matey…was actually lost for about 3hrs or so but sooo fun!
@RideThruJapan that's the main thing, have fun, I always get lost because I drive without a sat nav, just get on it and drive off 😀
Absolutely, I only use google maps when I need to be somewhere. But about 2hrs in I kinda wanted a signal 😂 was getting so cold. 🥶 I only meant to take a short ride 😂
Awesome scenery, lovely ride 👍 Amazing to see how good the Honda performs on tracks like this…. try some “scrambler” type tires on it and you have yourself a “scrambler” 👍
Thank you…I went out for a chill ride, got lost for 3hrs and finally decided I may as well film. The bike did really well, but the tires were struggling with all the rocks on the road and moss etc. hardest part was the sun…the HDR video looks good but in reality I could see half the time 🤣Thanks for watching 🙏 Much more to come 😎 My wife wants me to get a second bike so we can ride together so may just get a scrambler. 🧐
👍
Thanks for watching 🙏😊
Wow 😲 mate you have definitely a New fan 💯
@@MotoDidi125 thanks man😊 really appreciated, much more to come 😎
Well, that's like my car. 😂 Good enough.
🤣 mine too…well my car maybe slower. Thanks for watching 🙏😊
Great video 😊 Btw which mic do you use ? The ride sound is super clean and clear 💥 Do you use ND filters ?
Thanks man! Yeah on this video was a ND and gopro combo…sometimes I run the Insta360x4… sound is a rode lav mic into an H6 recorder, but the iphone works in a pinch with the same mic…Thanks for watching 🙏😊 More to come.😎
Sub’d you channel, looking forward to watching a few more tonight 😎
@@RideThruJapan Thanks!! sub'd to your's as well bro ..Ride hard!!!! 😊
Happy new year ! I own a T1200XE scrambler and that’s a great bike, the twin is so smooth and at the same time full of character. Very efficient and fun bike. However I would encourage you to consider a Moto Guzzi V7 (I also own one). Their 850cv Vtwin engine is a blast, and unique in the current motorcycle production. Plus , it’s air cooled … very nimble and maneuverable, that would be a perfect toy for your longer distance. Have a try !
Happy new year and thanks for the suggestions very appreciated 😊🙏 Will definitely take a look at the Moto Guzzi (bit hard to find in Japan though) heart is bending towards a triumph…will swing by the dealer on my next trip and test a couple. Thanks for watching 🙏😊
@@RideThruJapan won’t blame you … you can’t go wrong with a Triumph. Style, character, engine (that’s not just another parallel twin …) build quality, and you are not only getting a bike, you get the history and the story telling along 👍🏻
@ haha may have just sold me! Now just need a viral video to pay for it 😜 My wife said any money from the channel is all for bikes. 😎
@@RideThruJapan you have a smart wife 😊. And no doubt you’ll get there, you’re doing an outstanding job !
@ thanks man!
I’m thinking about this bike, but I’m 189cm and 90kg, will it be too small?
@@svenskdod thanks for watching, I don’t think it would be too small, I am 178cm and 80kgs for reference. I mean you are a tall guy so most bikes will feel a little small, but frame size wise it isn’t a little bike.
@ thanks buddy ありがと。日本語をべんきょうします☺️、 maybe I get one in Sweden then.
@@svenskdodvery welcome 🙏 日本語上手です。❤
nice bag :)
Thanks 😊 yeah it is great, holds all my gear for day trips. Tail and Tank bag from TripMachine. 😎 Thanks for watching 🙏😊
I would recommend a V-Strom 650 as they will be ceasing the manufacture of them soon. Not had one myself but never seen a channel or video with views against them, only praising them. It's called a Swiss army bike here in the UK by some owners.
Thanks for the tip, looks like a solid ADV option, will give one a look see. Thanks for watching 🙏😊
Happy new year and thank you for the video. Is it easy to drive with this bike at 110-120 km/h at faster roads?
Happy new year 🎊 it will cruise at 115km/h on expressways but suffers if there is a steep hill or strong headwind. The too gear just doesn’t have legs. But upto 100kms it is solid. On my trip to Ebino I rode 70kms at 115km/h no issues. Thanks for watching 🙏😊 Much more to come 😎
@@RideThruJapan Thank you for the quick reply! I didn't understand " The too gear just doesn't have legs" but ok 😄
@ the top gear (5th) is lacking power and torque, it just feels like a cruising gear. I usually take 4th to about 95km/h then switch to 5th to go up past 100. I did it a couple of times in the video to show how it rides, but 5th loses power and speed when you start climbing a hill.
Keep up the great work, brother!
Definitely! Keep those vids coming!
Thanks man! Next trip will be a multi day ride and camp through a pretty awesome zone. 😎 Thanks for watching 🙏😊
@dregorythecrow775 Thank you 😊 got some good rides planned😎 Thanks for watching 🙏😊
Have you considered just swapping out your tyres for say something like a TKC 70 Rocks rear TKC 80 front ? Just a thought !
I did, but I kinda love this bike too much to treat her rough 😂 I am leaning towards a second bike because my wife rides too and would be sweet to take some trips together. She loves the classic naked bikes, so thinking of a second bike that offers a little different options while keeping the style we both like, hence the scrambler idea. Appreciate the idea and thanks for watching 🙏😊
Great video man. I have the same bike here in India!
Thank you 🙏😊 Such a sweet bike for roads like this. Thanks for watching 🙏 More to come 😎
It’s really beautiful ❤ with the Note 🎵 ❤
Thank you 🙏😊 ありがとうございます😊
The 400X will take you anywhere and is a lot lighter, cheaper and more fuel efficient than the other Triumphs you mentioned. Invest in a decent rear shock and some knobbly tyres and you could do some serious off road riding too. Check out @Nathanthepostman here on TH-cam for the best review of the bike.
👍👍 A great escape from the storm-battered UK -- thanks a lot.
Thanks for watching 🙏😊 Much more to come, although damn cold here.
why not look for a recent Royal Enfield 411 with off road tyres it would be cheap as chips now with the 450 out, 'itchy boots ' took one into the mountains or a RE Scram 411, they will be a cult classic one day.
Good call, but I just haven’t seen an RE design that grabs me. I am crazy particular about that instant connection with a bike. The triumph gives me the fizz, but will have to test rude to see if it is more than aesthetics. I did just spot a new RE dealer where I live so will be down there for a look in person…who knows. Appreciate the advice 🙏😊
Do you wanna compare Honda with Royal Enfield 😂 Madness
@ I personally try not to compare bikes. They may be in a similar class but all have their own character. I just follow that guy feeling when I choose one. 😎
Happy New Year everyone ! 🎆🎉 Love your videos. Currently have a RE Classic 350, an Himalayan 450 and a Triumph T100 Bud Ekins... I'm really considering to sold some of them and just bought the Honda GB350S and enjoying it. Greetings from France !
Happy new year 🎊 Sounds like a fun collection 😎🏍️ Thank you so much for watching and dropping an awesome comment…next trip will be a pretty cool one…multiple days, camping and some crazy cool places. 😎
@RideThruJapan I'll be there to watch ! What's your opinion about the GB ? Good, bad... 😊
It is a super fun bike, always brings a smile to my dial. Did you see the full review I made?
@RideThruJapan yes. 😊
Very interesting, enjoyable and inspiring. Life should be an adventure. I am planning to get a bike again soon, after many years without one, it’s time to live 😎 Subbed and looking forward to more videos.
Thanks for watching and the sub 🙏😊 Good man, I went a good while without a bike and regret it. But, maybe the break is why I am so hooked again. Everything is better from the saddle 😜 more to come 😎
Beautiful scenery. Great roads to ride. Thanks for sharing. If the forest roads are mostly flat I’d just ride the GB350S. You can always invest in some 70/30 or 80/20 tyres. If the terrain gets more aggressive then something small and fun is best rather than a big heavy bike. Maybe a CRF250L or CRF300L 👍 Keep up the great vids. Steve UK 🇬🇧
Thanks man! Have thought about changing the tires, playing with the scrambler idea for some trips that can get pretty solid off-road. But still keep that classic style. Appreciate the tips and thanks for watching 🙏😊 More to come.
This is becoming one of my favorite channels, love Japan, love the Honda, finally coming to Europe 😊, as for a bigger bike I would recommend a Triumph Speed twin 900, its a blast to ride, easy handling, awesome sound and tons of items to customize, the engine is a real pleasure, I think you will like it, anyway, a Happy New Year to you and greetings from Sweden 😊👍
@@robertboomsema4422 thank you 🙏 So stoked to hear that…gets me fired up for the next video. Going to be a multiple day ride and camp. I like the look of the speed twin for sure, but thinking scrambler for when I have some dirt trails to navigate. Still got to put some more pennies in the piggy bank first though 😂 Thanks for watching 🙏😎
Adam, this is awesome! This is a great start to the year! Thanks! 🙏 I'm super excited to watch this in 4K on my 65-inch TV. 😉😋
@@MrRotox thanks man! Super stoked you liked it. The next trip I have planned will be a 4-5 day ride and camp 😎
❤❤❤❤
Thanks for watching 🙏😊 Much more to come 😎
Happy New Year and all the best for 2025...
Thank you 😊 here’s to a great year! 😎
I have been in love with Japan and motorcycles since a child, after having several bikes, I ended getting a cb350 too and just casually found your channel in the process which has been a blessing, keep up the awesome videos dude !
Thank you 😊 Yeah Japan is such a cool place, can’t wait to share more of it from two wheels 😎 Thanks for watching 🙏😊
Happy New Year Adam and thank you for your content.
Thank you for watching 🙏😊 Hope you have a stellar year! Much more to come 😎
so nice i love how the GB tractors on low revs around the corners. yes.... icy or slippery roads.....thats is a reason why traction control comes handy. even on a small 125 Bikes or scooters
Yeah this bike has so much character, I don’t think the TC kicked in, was a bunch of quick slips. But she handled it well. Thanks for watching🙏😊 Much more to come 😎
oh my i love ur vids.... that sound, the beautiful bike and that lovey beautiful countryside ....... relaxation pure
Thank you 😊 so much more to come 😎 Thank you for watching 🙏😊
Beautiful road! I want it too😉
😊😊 Yeah so many roads to play on here. And a super fun bike. Thanks for watching 🙏😊 Much more coming! 😎
original exaust?
Yes all stock, except for TripMachine wraps on the grips. Thanks for watching 🙏😊 Much more to come 😎 Happy New Year 🎊
Did the traction control kick in ? Happy New Year, you are doing a great job with the content, keep going 🎉
Thanks man 🙏😊I thought so, but can’t see it light up in the video. So maybe not…lots of quick slips. Happy New Year 🎊
My heart was pounding around every corner! 😆 Wishing you and your family a Happy New Year, Adam! 🥳🥳
🤣 mine too 😜 Hope you have an amazing new year and see you in 2025 🥳 Thanks for watching 🙏😊
@@RideThruJapan 😅😅
Oh man,you again..and your videos.. That sound, makes me happy.. *And my wife angry..😄 Can't wait to "smell" it 🏍️👌🏻 Happy new year, ride safe 🔩👌🏻
🤣 I have always had a knack for pissing off wives! Hope you get your bike soon 😉 have a great new year & thanks for watching 🙏😊
Great, twisty roads. Beautiful landscape and.... no traffic! If this isn't Tengoku, I don't know what is. 😁 Wish you a great 2025 and many miles with smiles. 🎉
Haha Heaven for sure! I can’t wait to try it again on a warm dry day. Was losing my back tire on nearly every turn. Black ice everywhere. The ride back down was really sketchy. The video doesn’t really show how steep the road was. 😎 Thanks for watching and have a great new year! Much more to come 😎🙏
any chance you would be able to tell me where you got that tank bag?
Tank and Tail bag by TripMachine. Crazy good quality and the company is awesome. Will be posting a review in the future.
The thing has a lovely rumble to it. Beautiful roads you have for riding there too.
Yeah such a sweet note! This area of Japan is like nirvana for riding. Thanks for watching 😊🙏 Will be posting more and more content showcasing Japan, stay tuned 😎
Oh wow this thing sound beautiful on idle.
Yeah I hate turning it off. 😜 Thanks for watching 🙏😊 Much more to come 😎
How many kilometres can you drive on one tank of fuel? Best regards 😉
Thanks for watching 🙏😊 Depending on the riding style I seem to get between 600-700km
The GB350 sounds like a noisy lawn mower. The RE Classic/Bullet 350 sounds and looks more authentic. The Honda is probably better overall but has a distinct lack of character. A typical Japanese clone...
Sounds like you have some badass lawnmowers in your area 😜 “authentic”, “clone” it’s just a bike dude 😂 luckily there are many bikes for many riders…I love it…keeps the road interesting. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts 🙏😊 Happy riding 🏍️
Is the motorcycle tiring while driving at 90 kilometers per hour ?
Yeah the 5th gear is useless on roads like this. I deliberately shifted to 5th a few times to show that. But it pulls fine in 4th up to about 100km/h. thanks for watching 🙏😊
Thanks for the video. I was planning to buy the RE Classic 350, but now I'm considering the GB350s. Not only is it more than €1,000 cheaper, but Honda also has more dealers and service centres available.
Very welcome 😊 yeah it is a great bike for just getting on and going. While I plan on buying a few more bikes in the next few years, the GB has a home for life. Thanks for watching 🙏😊 Much more to come 😎
The sound is becoming much better, thank you! 😎
Yay, thank you! 😊
Great 👍 😊
Thank you! Cheers! 🙏😎 More to come 😊
Perfect! 👏👏😍 You can look cool with insta360 "hanging" on your chin! ☺
🤣 I try not to look in the mirrors. Thanks for watching 🙏😊 More to come 😎
bro make it 60fps it will be a smooth experience 🥰
Will give it a go, normally I use the gopro with ND but tried the insta360X4 today…the motion blur effect looks horrible.
Appreciated and thanks for watching 😊🙏
Love it ❤
Thank you 🙏 more to come 😎🏍️ Thanks for watching 😊🙏
Me too!
Thank you 😊
