I faced this same issue while test drive of Harrier, i tested 3 times.. all 3 diesel MT had same problem... Later i test drove Hector Diesel MT and Compass Diesel MT .. interestingly all 3 cars had the same issue in 2nd gear below 12 kmph... I guess this is common for all D2.0 fiat engine.... However, I went with Hector finally as it gave best driving comfort among the 3.

Wow! I also own Harrier XTA+ and even i had faced this left pulling issue in my car and for me also this issue is fixed by wheel alignment at Tata SC. No issue in my car at all now!

Jeep compass me to petrol engine me bhi hai ye. Ye bhaari gaadiyon me mileage badhata hai. Actually rpm kam karne se fuel ki wastage kam hoti hai, par company ne usko itne kam pe tune kiya hai ki wo band ho jaati hai, isse bachne ke liye log half clutch rakhke accelerate karte hai aur dheere dheere clutch plates kharaab ho jaati hai.

It’s coz of high torque at higher rpm not at low rpms
