The sad side of Elijah's miracle is that people want good things like rain for crops but hate the very One who gives it & is the Source, that is God Jehovah. The paradox in bad people's mentality is "get good things by doing evil"

Please allow me to explain these Prophetic years. First of all... These 3 and 1/2 years time are known as a Prophetic Times and this is why the Tribulations period,which is known as the time of Jacobs(Israels) Trouble, lasts for 7 years because it is what is known as a Double Prophetic Time. That is two Prophetic Times combined in One period. When the Prophet Elijah comes,his ministry will only last approximately 3 and 1/2 years,then He will be cut off and caught up to heaven... After that the ministry of the Man of Lawlessness will began and it will last for a total of 3 and 1/2 years,then after that,He will be cut off due to assassination, then after that the ministry of the Anti-Christ will begin and that will last for a total of Three and One half years, then after that...The ministry of the Two Witnesses will begin, in which that will last approximately Three and One half years, then after that Christ will return to finish the Second Half of His 7 year ministry in which He was cut off Midway and He must therefore finish confirming the Covenant which he did not finish the first time and that Prophetic Period will last approximately Three and One half Years! That will then seal up the sum total of all the bible Prophecies.... That's all....Shalom
