If you love the well known brand 'Benefit', and their Benetint Cheek Stain Product you will love this! I used to use Benetint as it is really very good, but as I like to experiment with the natural resources around me (and save money), I had a go at mixing a home-make, all-natural alternative to their cheek stain. It's cheaper, local (if you use local rapeseed oil) and no toxic residue or nasties to breath in.... I had this realisation after I bath in Local Rapeseed oil and would wipe it out of the bath, leaving the bath super clean. Of Course! Oil binds with Oil! The rapeseed oil was binding with the dirt held in the oil on the bath (I spend a lot of time outdoors in mud and my fella is a builder so... ...

Rub it in and use a hot cloth to wipe it off just hot water , honestly , it’s a game changer ! Lard alone is just fine too :) x

I would just be careful with them as like lavender is an estrogen producer and can actually harm your hormone balance. Unfortunately, the quantity needed is for this to happen has not been tested though there is some speculation it’s a lot lower than a lot of people think. 🫶🏼

Our course is as much about giving a really thorough id process for helping avoid errors. We also go into the laws, and pollution, plus a fun quiz or two and chatting in the comments x www.wildharvest.org/store i've added the link here, but it may also be worth you considering our Teach Foraging program if you are already very knowledgeable x

Whenever I cook salmon or beef brisket which is greasy, I moisturize with it. Haven't tried lard...but it's natural and not like mineral oil or placenta collagen or anything...just basic and easy protection for your skin especially in the winter months. Now that I think of it..I could absolutely see moisturizing with bacon fat 😋. I figured that smelling like BBQ would attract the right kind of guy who also likes beef and bacon and who is a man's man 😆. Definitely wouldn't want a vegan...not that vegans aren't nice people...absolutely love all kinds of people, but I'm just not going to change my dietary habits...so if I smell like bacon...it might already send them a signal that I may not be the ideal partner for them...probably same for Jewish or Muslim people who oppose of pork consumption of any kind. You look gorgeous and radiant and happy. Keep doing what works for you ❤️

I don’t tell very many folks as some may be put off by it. Most plant based oils do absolutely nothing for me but sit on top of my skin. I have to use pork lard as my carrier oil. I having a lard spell at the moment using it most days due to working outside in the winter and you can really feel a difference to the surface and how it feels, can't believe folk spend £100 on a pot of moisturiser when lard is like 60p. :)

A friend of mine gave me a few freshly slaughtered pork chops, but they had a thick layer of fat which I didn't want to keep on the pork chops. I cut the fat off and froze it and have been looking at fat rendering methods to use the excess fat to make lard. They say to render it at a low temperature to prevent the pork burnt bacon smell. Lots of info out there, but why not use what you may have at home, or maybe a neighbour who cooks and throws the extra fat away. Communicating ones wishes wants and desires is the first step to receiving it. I hope you find something that will work nicely for you.
