@@LockpickingsGal I actually had plans too. I have my next blank set up because normally you would tip a key up and down as you turn it, but since these blanks do not fit tightly in the keyway, it misread the tip and I filed it too deep so I should be able to fix that and explain what I did wrong how to fix it and how to go about it when you run into this situation. @@LockpickingsGal the key still works, but you have to tip it up a little bit at the tip or down at the bow then it pops right open.

@@LockpickingsGal also work at a local family owned hardware store so I kind of have my haul at all the key blanks. I mean it’s no key store so I don’t have entire walls of keys but I have a pretty impressive rack available. I’ve picked out the most common and easiest to modify 😉

@@Nicks-Picks Thank You. Just got immoressioned a key for it yesterday! I took just a little bit too much out of the last pin so you have to tip the key just a little so I’m making a new one now but I can’t decide whether I should just file it or make a video showing how I make them lol

@@IsamuSushi I'd say now you've had a practice run that many would be interested in seeing the process, including me. Even though I've made keys myself for wafer locks I still find it good to watch others as you never know what little tips and tricks you can pick up as everyone sees things differently. 😊🤘

Need fairly high tension because you’re trying to turn that whole counter wheel at the same time and didn’t feel too much like security pins or anything, just felt kind of squishy at first. Kinda like it’s got old grease and grime in there that’s never been cleaned out which seeing how there riveted shut, that is probably all it is lol

I was mostly a dog person until my wife and son convinced me they needed a cat and and I wouldn’t have to lift a finger… needless to say I do everything for her. She sees me as daddy, now they’re both pissed off because she’s my cat and not one of their favorites lol.

@@IsamuSushi Isamu Sushi you won't believe it but I had the same situation with my cat and ex-woman. The ex was 100% sure that this cat was hers and would follow her anywhere. But alas and ah the cat decided that I was her person!!! It was funny to watch the ex's reaction to the cat's behavior. Well, we got together with the cat a couple of months later and generally left her house 🏠 Maybe we are a little cramped today but at least we are happy without drilling the skull. )))))))))))

@@SeeStuDo that’s my kitty Naomi, but technically I’m not supposed to have her because HOA says only two animals and we have two dogs and her, but she is strictly indoor deathly terrified to go out and never even leaves the basement so I said I’m not leaving her behind when we move! Plus she’s over 14years old and I wasn’t leaving her with my son & 2 Labradoodles…

@@Lockjunkie 😂 that’s my favorite one. I bought that lock over 25 years ago and you can see the key hanging on the front of it in the video is a stainless steel key, but it is actually rusted and all corroded. That’s how old that lock is lol. And still functions flawlessly.

@@Melikeygtag it’s my workstation for building, making, and picking, Challenge Locks. A lock lab can be anything from just your area where you pick and store all your locks to where your manufacturing and building or repairing your locks. Kinda like Locksmiths repair station.
