Day 13 | Final Destination: Home with Our New Puppy
The final chapter of our 13-day road trip has arrived. This video captures the first night with our new puppy - a big adventure for her, camping in a tent, new people, and an older Airedale sister having her own suspicions and thoughts of what it means for her. The dreamy morning was a fresh start for everyone, and the journey home felt like the perfect ending.
Everywhere is good, but there’s nothing like returning home. Our new puppy settled in instantly, as though she’s always been part of the pack. This road trip, and the decision to welcome her into our lives, was great.
This visual journal is a deeply personal diary of how we travel - intentionally, with simplicity and curiosity. In a world overrun by endless narratives, consumption, and trendy destinations, this is our way of slowing down. Traveling doesn’t have to cost a fortune; the wealth is in the beauty of nature and the depth of human history that surrounds us. Sometimes it is nice just to be in silence.

Thank you 🤍 It was a busy day, we have done 13 miles (21km) that day. We were considering if to skip morning's walk in Tyresta, but thought we have to do it for our Airedale, it was a good decision, time in nature before exploring the big city 😊

Where are you at. I'm in Carlisle. There is a breeder called Cumbria Airedales in our area. . Airedales are just something else. 💕

In another lifetime, I had 2 Airedales, Sophie and Carmen. They were huge teddy bears who loved to run and bark at leaves. They slept on the bed and were the perfect burglar alarm. Such wonderful dogs. Airedales have never figured out that they're not human. Your dogs are lovely and no doubt bring you much joy.
