Don't need to crawl under forklift to remove extensions. Extended boom can lift the forklift past the mounts.

The telescoping boom might be of some advantage, (I just don't know what exactly) but no seat belt and reaching under not-so-safely suspended load are sketchy at best.

This is not the type of mount I am needing for a forklift that needs to be mounted on the back of my truck flatbed. The fact that it needs an extra attachment to be able to mount it on the flatbed makes it very impractical.
