I definitely understand, It was supposed to be a temporary things in other videos I explained that. Once I get fish that cost more that 30 cents I will provide oxygen in the fish bowl. Until then he’s been doing great the last 5 weeks 🥴

⁠@@Lifeasjade23so because he only cost 30¢ he doesn’t deserve a better habitat? i mean i know it’s just a fish but it’s still an animal. fish get stressed and can feel discomfort. and yeah maybe he’s been living for 6 weeks but looking at the state of his home, he’s probably spent every waking minute struggling and miserable. pretty horrible that you think that it’s okay to let him live in a filthy, tiny bowl with no oxygen because he only cost 30¢. the price of an animal should not change how you treat it. i’m genuinely disgusted

@ there is no filtration which would lead to the water constantly getting dirty and could possibly get contaminated with bacteria and parasites, plus the size of the bowl is way too small for that fish

It was supposed to be a short term thing , that’s why I’m providing updates . He was 30 cent fish . I’ll provide a SUITABLE environment once we decided to move forward and purchase long term fish 😊

​@Lifeasjade23 Goldfish are long term. Even the cheap feeder ones. Properly cared for this fish could live a very long time

@@Lifeasjade23Animals aren’t “short term” things :( I really think you should look up how to care for a gold fish- you’ll be surprised what they need. Aquatic animals are by far the most abused pets in the world because people don’t take the time to learn about what they actually need. For example, they need a source of oxygen in the water, which involves an air pump with something called an air stone. I’ve been keeping fish for a long time. I really recommend rehoming this fish or doing the work to provide it the proper home. It’s important for a kid to also see that animals aren’t just toys or throw away items, and I think your kid would learn a lot from watching you care for this fish.
