A group of local churches in the Anglican tradition serving the communities of Treharris, Trelewis, Bedlinog, Nelson and Llanfabon; known locally as Taff Bargoed. The Church is part of the wider Taff Rhymney Ministry Area; in the Diocese of Llandaff, part of the Church in Wales.

Fr Gareth Coombes is the local Vicar; with responsibility for Saint John the Baptist, Nelson; Saint Matthias, Treharris and Saint Mabon's, Llanfabon.

The local church is working hard to provide regular live-stream services from all three churches and passionate about reaching out and making a real difference locally.
