I try to make my videos very genuine. Just me playing the game. No rares, no over the top editing, no clout chasing. Just authentic animal jam fun with a sprinkle of commentary on random things I notice!

I’m aware my content isn’t the best and it’s very homemade looking, but at least I genuinely try with my content. And yes while it it for fun I still like getting views and stuff! I do and enjoy and am proud of it! :)

i been posting aj content (taking it more seriously) for a few YEARS now but only this year did my channel finally get noticed!! (and ive always put the same amount of effort LOL) I feel like there is a massive lack of original ideas from people like, you can do the basic trading videos or update reviews and *still be funny, entertaining, unique, inspiring, etc*. But for some reason nooobody is stepping up to do that raahhh. you can make animal jam fun if you are a FUN PERSON!! riding off giveaway bait and negativity focused videos is sooo overrated like you said! animal jam can be so fun with the right people.

AJ isn't really worth something making videos about, imo. It is a game, yes. However, its game mostly marketed towards a young audience. The reason for the very restricted chat, the adventures, and much more. Unlike other games like MC and Pokemon, which, while enjoyed by kids, an older demographic, can also enjoy the games as well. AJ isn’t a game where you can use your creative imagination too much, or has a coherent story to follow like many other games.

I've really wanted to do art streams ONLY as I am more interested in streaming! I mean people like the art, but people DO want to win stuff, it gets people to talk to in chat at least. Having a discord probably helps to be fair.

I agree with this because im a small creator and I do giveaways sometimes, but Im sorta getting sick of it. I make videos of den decorating, update reviews, random vids with buds and sure only like 40 people watch but it makes me happy! its annoying that only people subscribe for rares... also the thing is when i make videos i dont have time to edit and if i do it feels fake so i keep things real and i know some people may not like it but it shows our flaws and doesnt feel like were celbs lol

i dont even go live and if i did it would probably just be for pack runs on ajpw instead of boring giveaways and i do try to upload content but i get burnout way too easily along with getting too busy can we just go back to videos where it has no editing and we're just having fun at this point?

id love to do aj content but i hate having to censor myself or be child friendly. id have to make an alt account im sure

What do you use to screen record/edit? I’ve been wanting to make animal jam content for yeeears but I don’t know where to start. I have made content in the past so I am not going in completely blind, but it’s been a few years and I’d love to know what’s worked for you :)

already one step ahead of you haha 🏃 this is EXACTLY why i started my channel i specifically DONT want people that just want rares because im not tryna to a have my viewer base be those kinda of people. im somehow at 200+ subs from two genuine video, its so fun 💕

from my experience if I were starting out on AJYT, it really isn't worth it - most videos that get viewers are your average exploit warning because they game's security isn't updated or genuinely edited videos that would take multiple hours-days to edit which rarely rewards people given the lack of interest for AJ on TH-cam now and it really is demotivating to pour your heart into something that might not even get watched. I really am not a fan of the whole giveaway meta going on but even from my own experience it's extremely easy to grow a channel off of that purely - I started a streaming channel and got it to 1K subs in just two weeks off following that meta just to prove a point LOL, I think the best of both worlds would be just to advertise giveaways in videos so it ensures people actually watch videos, ensures retention (which is everything when it comes to pushing a TH-cam video in the algorithm) and is the only way I've seen genuine tremendous growth over the last 2 years after the first year I started to grow as well

There’s a Wizard101 youtuber I watched that stopped making that kind of content to switch variety instead of making a new channel. I don’t think you can be stuck in a niche per se, I think if you work at it enough you can bring yourself out of the AJ community if that makes sense? If you lose some subscribers, you’ll build them back up with your future videos! Regardless, it’s completely up to you especially since you’ve talked about rebranding. Looking forward to future content ♥️♥️

You could always make like a playlist of old animal jam vids, and unlist them otherwise. I, regardlessly, would watch any content you make! Also what is the Mic you are using? It's really clear!

I’ve been having the same issue with AJ content creation and I plan on making a similar video. AJ is too hard to play/make content for and I’d rather play something I know I like playing like Stardew Valley.

Aw man, i only recently got into your content because i enjoyed your animal jam videos(the trading ones were always super therapeutic to me idk why) and was kind of hoping you'd make more, but im also super glad you decided to shy away from it and do something you'd actually enjoy instead of doing animal jam videos just because other people want to see it, your content should be for YOU to enjoy first and foremost! If you don't like it, what's the point? I wish you the best of luck on your TH-cam journey and say you're really funny and entertaining!
