I discovered this song and the 77777 mixtape this year in 2019, but these songs give me nostalgia for some reason.
It's because they sample/cover/mash-up songs in this mixtape and make it their own. So it kind of sounds like these songs are new yet you've heard them before.

@@almyjoyous6885 I don't think so. Those songs gave me a nostalgic feeling even without ever listening to the original songs. I even looked up the songs they sampled from and I didn't recognize them one bit besides the parts he sampled.
Hmmm I guess it's a mystery. Plus I kind of meant that if you heard 3 songs from the 00's and early 10's then you would feel like you're back in that decade even if you didn't know the songs they sampled (because they did an amazing job making it their own). Kind of like how Joywave's "Titan" sound 80's but also new. Or do you know what, they are just talented and an amazing band, I wonder if they are ever gonna do another mixtape (99999)

I normally don't dislike anything on TH-cam but when you take Walk in the Park by Beach House and just add random lyrics to it it feels like low effort. It's literally the whole song and even the entirety of the drums during the vocals. I mean, if I'm going to listen to something I'd rather listen to the real thing, which is, in my humble opinion, leagues above this.

They sound so similar to Mesita
they use similar chords throughout all of their music and they all sound mostly the same, but for me i think thats the best part because its nice to know that somethings in life will never change. :)
