I was born on Falcon St off Lawndale where your video first started in 1960 Lived there until 1997 Ran those streets for years Delivered pizzas for a place called Big Brutus pizzeria for about 15 years in the 70s and 80s Used to be a nice neighborhood than gangs started moving in the mid 90s so I left and moved to South Carolina but my heart is still in South West Detroit lots of memories in this short video Fleetwoods ,Motts Hamburger ,4th Precinct , Happy Shell gas station on Springwells and Fort 🥰

I was born on West Grand Blvd and Fort. May 1972 , it's gone now . I grew up on those vary streets . My life has been Truly Beyond my dreams. And truly tragic and heasrt breaking. moved away in 98 But im truly from Southwest Detroit. We came a long way

The older house are mostly Brick. It takes a lot of work to build them .

I love a drive through the old neighborhoods. It's been decades since I've seen any of it. Halloween was the best. It was always like a block party near my grandparent's house. I think we stayed on our bikes all day back then (early 90s.)

My favorite street when growing up. Lots of memories.
I grew up on plainview and when I came back, I was stunned to see marathon still there and the rest of the neighborhood just in a depressive state. Yet all going well, I am moving back home come 2025 winter time.

Just got back from the cruise. A lot of grand nationals, mustangs, and newer camaros, and more chevy caprices and el caminos than recent years.

In Detroit Michigan, and in all of America, they created the Have's and the Have-not's, one part of the city is in full operation economically, and the other abandon, with the failed economic system full of empty houses and commercial buildings that were once thriving sixty-five years ago. People have to get involve with politics so that their community can be saved.

A Lot of the housing was modest, working class, for the autoworkers, etc. There were some Fancy Victorians, and large Apartment houses, Too.
