Una versione straordinaria.....💫
Syd Barrett was the coolest bloke to exist ever, but man Gilmore was amazing
❤❤❤❤
OOOOFFFFFFFF
(it was all Syds, then all rogers, then all davids... then all ricks... and a bit whem they all looked like Nick too... Quality trip mate!. A holographic band fractal... I certainly intered a few stellas, and WELL over there.....DRIVENLY)
WOWWWWW!!! Everything it was sold to be! WOOT WOOT! Did aanyone catch how onto it even the sound-desk folk are here? That bass did more than teacher-taught-you there. Bubblicious...... Fractals
(they are a bunch o pish takin c*nts though huh?)
Wow!!!!! What a performance, I actually think this is better than the studio version. Thought by this time Syd was meant to be raving and drooling, mans playing for his life. The sound quality of this as well, just again Wow!!!!.
F A N T A S T I C O ! ! !
David and Syd together. What a Beautiful thing ❤
Nick is killing it on the drums here. And Rick is smashing it on the boards!
I was 4 years old and this was happening!.....
Why use all this nasa cgi? Why not just focus on the band...the real shiite?
This sounds Sydless
On behalf of Britain I apologise for this tedious and pretentious nonsense. Don’t judge our music by this.
I Won Tickets to Division Bell, but lost the Tickets and bought tickets for the next night. But found the Tickets I won for the first night just in the nick of time to make it there ,I saw them Live Two nights in a row 🙂. Now the Surround Sound was Unbelievable At Bobby Dodd Stadium and the Lasers and the Giant Holographic Disco Ball that Shoots lasers, And the Flying Pigs and , Cough I could go on and On. Or you could just purchase the DVD Pulse...
Memories...
In the 1980's I had a friend that made a good cup of Mushroom Tea and had a Bootleg of This 🙂!!!
What model of fender used?
How many Swedish kids were born in the Summer of 1968?!
Hey kids, That could be your grandparents dancing there! They weren't always old people...
Pink Floyd was Syd. After that. nope.
Syd was the Genius but Rogers taste and signature screams were a big part of their Eerie Psychedelic sound.
È un trip questo concerto, mi sarebbe piaciuto esserci 😂
1:26 incredible..off the Richter scale!
Roger is all Conan the Barbarianed out...
Blue gel 🔷material…
Ummagumma and Meddle blow away every album after Dark Side imo. While watching this I kept thinking about Hugh Hefner talking with Jerry Garcia. I'm imagining Hugh saying something about the kids want to have a wholesome experience before Pink Floyd gather round their instruments to launch into Interstellar Overdrive.
Starts off good... turns to cr@p Don't do drugs kids
Syd Barrett did not have latent chizophrenia... He simply took too many drugs!!! Unfortunately he had the wrong friends and hung out with junkies... It's a sad story... A real emotional ordeal for the whole Barrett family... Syd was a talented, gifted young man... Founded Pink Floyd in 1965... Got a record deal in 1967 and made Pink Floyd famous!!! In April 1968 he was kicked out.... Sad story!!!!! The other three amateur musicians no longer wanted to be architecture students and wanted to become full-blooded musicians!!! Syd Barrett could no longer play a proper scale... He had his blackouts... Unfortunately Pink Floyd is not a buddy band... In my eyes 👁️ they just used Syd!!! He stayed in the group for as long as it seemed sensible... That's how the three architects are... Roger Waters said let's carry on without Syd... He didn't pick him up... Rick Wright said to Syd: I'll just get some cigarettes and had a live performance with the band... Pink Floyd you have to have real friends... A sad, painful experience for Syd... He threw himself into it completely... It's sad that he never had therapy... A psychiatrist could have helped... Psychiatry wasn't that advanced back then... But it was in the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s... Strange that no one from the Barrett family or the band could motivate him to do it...
Awesome job with editing to capture the vibe of the psy-rock gem...don't even need the lysergic compounds anymore to capture the vibe, the onesness with god and our role as watchers so god isn't alone in marveling at the spectacle of the universe.
This isn’t Fillmore West. This is Winterland. I remember thinking the flashpots were hokey; and they had the effect of zeroing out the liquid light projections that were a basic element of both Bill Graham and Family Dog shows during that time.
I do not think this was 1970: Fibes Drums? Roto Toms? I don't think either were available in 1970.... IMHO
2:07 Michael Corleone’s bodyguard
Ask yourself, has anyone played guitar like Syd since...uh, no one, Hendrix yes, so many, but his is still 'far out'! Try it yourself, it isn't that hard, or is it?

yeh wow epic omg to be there
Heavyosity. Pink Floyd was great before they went commercial. But hell, who can blame them? (Betcha Thurston and Lee were big on this video)
Looks like you're trying to be different, or just a druggie. Their best was in the 70s But I also love this
Pink Floyd are cool, space is bullshit! Brought to you by NASA!
Are you sure this is Stockholm? I saw an audience that was definitely London… Hoppy was there and others. Unless they took their London audience with them.
What a pity, a sad story. Syd Barett was a talented, gifted young man. He founded Pink Floyd at the age of 19. He made one record and released two singles. He wrote 52 songs. He was kicked out at the age of 22. He made two solo records after that. His musical processing is not so good. Syd Barett was already ill. It's sad that he never had therapy. It wasn't easy for Syd and his family. Psychiatry wasn't ready back then. But it was in the 80s and 90s. He needed therapy to get his psyche back on track. Sad. He failed as a painter and musician.
So sad Richard never got an expose’ on his analog gear😢Then the over kill of Gilmours guitars and pedal got💁♂️
Psychedelic a.f. Syd was a great guitarist too. Not only a poet and an author.
1:29... It looks amazingly like the Antikythira Mechanism...,the "astrolabe of Antikythira"...in ancient Greece....🇬🇷 It's an astronomical computer used to predict the positions of Heavenly bodies in the Sky....dated to about 150-100 BC...🙏😌☝🏿💎♦️💎💜🎸💜💖💕💞🌬🌊 🎶
Recently saw a colorized version of this video in a documentary, does anybody have it?
Wow! Where are u from? 😢 I wish I could have it lol but I’m from Mexico and I don’t think that doc is available here. I heard about it, it looks beyond cool tho.
They ditched Syd and kept his music.
Yeah I said Barrett he might have started the song but I think the other guys in the band Mason and Waters right and Gilmore finished it....
Syd Barrett era davvero un genio , avanti anni luce su tutti
Roger's screaming at starting confused me a long time. I thought that's little puppy barking
punk
phenomenal editing
