Saint Georges Stan tug big and small
I saw the tug Saint-Georges (a Stan tug built by Damen Shipyards in 2015) go past on the river and since I have a 1/72 RC scale version of it (purchased online and customized a bit) I thought I’d go have a look as I saw it was moored up at the Ruskin Docks in Delta. I headed up and talked to the captain who asked my help. He wanted me to take a line to a large fender tire which had parted from the dock and fetched up on the shore line somewhere. Well we looked for it for a while but could not find it. I had lots of fun though. The footage is a bit shaky I’m afraid since I was running the outboard at the same time. These little RC boats are getting popular at my RC boat club, Burnaby Association of Marine Modellers. www.bammrc.com/

What to do with a nice big ice floe at the BAMM pond? Get it spinning! Handheld filming while I ran the boat makes it a bit shaky I'm afraid.

Breaking Ice at the BAMM pond.

There was just the right amount of ice thickness to do some breaking at the Burnaby Association of Marine Modeller's pond on Sunday Dec 19 2021. The ice was about 1/8" to 3/16". Here we see the tugs Dire Straits and Gillfoam hard at work to make some room for others to run their boats.
Hovercraft Moytel and RCM-SAR 7
มุมมอง 4853 ปีที่แล้ว
The Coast Guard hovercraft Moytel went roaring up the Fraser as far as the tunnel, turned and roared back down around the corner to where I could hear it maneuvering for a few minutes, then slowly made its way back upstream and stopped in front of me. It was towing a small boat alongside which I figured was broken down. After some time with folks getting on and off of the little boat and one of...

These ducklings decided to take advantage of my RC tug's water monitor at the BAMM pond today. These guys were very tame having just woken from a nap in the grass at my feet. Sunday June 28 2020

The wheel on the Steam Sternwheeler Samson V in New Westminster has needed repair for a long time. Valley towing's tug Seatow brought a crane barge and lifted the ruined wheel setting it on a cradle on a small barge brought by the tug Nellie Irene to be taken down river for rebuilding.

Time lapse at the Welland Canal
มุมมอง 2515 ปีที่แล้ว
Time lapse of the Lakers Florence Spirit and Andean transiting the Welland canal near St. Catherines Ontario. The Florence was just coming out of lock 7 and the Andean lock 3. If you look at the folks walking you can see these ships move very slowly. After the ship was out of the lock I noticed the three giant CAVOTEC (www.cavotec.com/en/your-applications/ports-maritime/automated-mooring) syste...

Great video! What motor and what size prop are they running?
Hi I'm interested in making one of these kayaks I have several ideas on mechanical mechanism but love to see the one you have made in this one.
take a new video! This place is fascinating. Finn Slough needs to be protected💕
Winding & unwinding the ice flow ... I trust there were no Titanic adventures
Thank you, back to my childhood 70 years ago.
Eva is much like the troller (Seabird) my father built in Nanaimo (1951) with the same engine. Mom, dad and 2 kids moved on her to Saltery Bay, then to Blind bay (one of the Easthope brothers lived there too), then on to Finn Bay where I spent my youth. The Finns were beautiful people.
*Thank you for sharing a good video with a nice boat!~~~^_^*
Cool tug
Sorry it took ten years to answer, yes?
Can you tell me the link or address to purchase the remote control Goose? How much was it for the purchase? hank you.
I'm afraid this was a custom build made from a decoy.

I LOVE DUCKS
Their mama has about a dozen of these very tame ducklings.
Mini cam facing him as he paddles and head turns. Now that would be awesome to see!! 👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤❤ I'll SUBSCRIBE to your channel after the on board mini (almost no weight cam) video comes out and posted. Ok cool THKS
How do make it so the oars come to a stop in either up or down position
I think the controls are so responsive that where you stop is where the oars end up - either up or down in the stroke.
World like to see new videos of this boat

I know I'm 5 years late but how did he get the mariner outboard? The best I can do is a big outboard for a RIB and making a little tiller looking thing for my D class? Thanks
This link will take you to a build page for that. www.bammrc.com/kobus-outboard-build. If you want to get in touch with the builder send a message through the same site's contact page.
