Are you going to do a 1 year long review video of the audeze Maxwell because I was thinking of buying one myself and I want to see an example of how they hold up 👍.
Mga engot
PA SHUT UP BOSSSS
but the shape of v2 pro is just awesome and iconic
Hey can you do a one year long review of the audeze Maxwell?
I have used both mice and here is my take. The v2 pro has far better ergonomics while the v3 has a better plastic but the v2 has the rubber grip which is definatley prefered over trashy grip tape that peels off. They have the same size battery but if you use the 8k polling rate on the v3 you will prob get around a 4th of the batter life. Speaking of 8k polling rate, its a marketing gimmik! If you don't belive me watch optimum tech and his video on 8k polling rate mice. Overall ergonomics is key ao the v2 takes the cake although usb-c would be nice 😢
How is it after a year? Also thank you for the review.
It's still working fine, I haven't changed mouse for some time now. it's still great but there's some shining going on.
But thank you for the comparisson
Your hands look ugly
How’s the maxwells compare to the 490 pros?
They... are a vastly different category of product.. one is a wireless closed back.. planar magnetic gaming headset with a fairly neutral, trebal forward presentation.. the other is an open back, wired, dynamic headphone with a tuning that is designed for audio production and mastering that somehow loses out to a three year old headphone in sound, that costs less than half of the price(HD 560s) of the HD 490 Pro.
Thank you for the video. I dont know if its a mistake, but the reason the USB extender is white is because you ordered the white version. I got the black and the extender and cable is also black, so as far as dirtyness concerns, thats on you buddy😁
Hello. there is no wireless charging like in V2 i thinked about change but... why?
Buying this today great video.
I appreciate it!
Good job
Thank you! Hope you found it informative
Hows the maxwell after acouple months? Thinking of getting it but get scared of the audeze reddit horror stories.
For me it sounds nice, I don't have any issues with it honestly. I'm mainly using it with my PC, using the Audeze HQ. I don't have the headband issue so I guess that's just a small number of issue.
@@jltalusan thanks man! I think i will pull the trigger and give it a shot.
@@vaztard4813 Good luck! Let me know how it turns out!
How does the Maxwell compare to the 490 pros?
Late reply but my Maxwell are still doing great! Both gaming and music is superb! Kinda heavy though, i wish they make a Maxwell that is lighter.
Great video. where do you get this sarap music from?
I use the ones provided by youtube. hehe
Thank you for this informative video! Would this mouse be suitable for fingertip grip? How’s the 4,000Hz HyperPolling dongle (if you have it)? Is this mouse suitable or good in all game genres, such as FPS, MOBA, MMORPG, Single-player games, etc. (any game genre in general)? Lastly, how’s your overall experience with the mouse and its components now after having them for months? No issues so far? My sincerest apologies for the amount of questions, but I would appreciate if you answered them all. Thank you! 😊❤️
When playing games that are not fps I usually use the DAV3 for fingertip grip, and I could say it's been pretty perfect after all these months. No issues so far. I didn't had the itch to "upgrade" because it's really good in the hands. sorry I don't have the 4000hz dongle. But I've been using this competitively for valorant, dota 2 and single player games and it's been great and I don't feel like I'm missing something by not using the 4000hz. For me the only thing I would change for competitive fps is add a grip tape (they have one included) but I would use something else. Let me know if these answered your questions, I would happily answer them.
@@jltalusan, you've answered all my questions, thank you very much, but I have other new questions to ask, sorry. Is the grip tape not enough for competitive FPS or other game genres? If I may ask, what would you use as a substitute for it? Speaking of the "fingertip grip", would the mouse be suitable for fingertip grip when playing VALORANT, other FPS games, MOBA, etc., or would the answer depend on the user himself/herself? Thank you in advance!
@@j-hope7842 for me I'm not using any grip tape right now and it works fine, it's grippy by itself but I can see someone recommending a grip tape to use specially if you have sweaty hands. I've heard good things about corepads so I would check that out. For me when I'm playing valorant, I unknowingly switch to relaxed claw from fingertip grip but that's just the way I am. I think it will largely depend to the user. But I would highly recommend getting the Razer DAV3. It's the best mouse I've used so far. I'm not a fan of other high end mouse such as final mouse, I don't like holes in my mouse.
@@jltalusan Thank you, bro!
@@j-hope7842 no problem, let me know how it turns out if ever you order yours.
The Maxwell is a headset because of the mic, not a headphone. It's a pedantic thing, but it's something to take note of. As such, it's tuning is more "fun" and punchy compared to the two open backs you're comparing against. Both of the Sennheisers are soooooo smooth and open sounding while Maxwell is going to put everything you're listening to right in your face lol
LCD-GX is also a "headset" by your logic and not a headphone)
@@mikedergalev If it has a mic, its a headset. and since the Maxwell also has mics built into the earcups, it retains the headset status. LCD-GX, as it is out of the box with the mic cable attached, is a gaming headset. Remove it, and use the cable that has no mic, its a headphone because it lacks the actual communication ability of a headset.
@@NyteStalker89 come on bro)
@@mikedergalev Come on bro? Why? Because I grasp the concepts of basic English and the words used to describe what a category of product is and how changing something on one thing can then redefine how that product is categorized? I even said in my original comment that it was a pedantic thing to point out(pedantic. Being showy of one’s knowledge, often in a boring manner. Being finicky or fastidious, especially with language.) in a jokingly manner. You EU types really need to loosen up and try having a sense of humor. Makes the world a bit brighter when everyone isn't so super serious all the fucking time.
@@NyteStalker89 fastidious=)) ill right it down. im cool, no offense, peace)
How would these compare to like a he400i? I'm wondering if the price is mostly for the wireless tech and not so much the driver and tuning.
I haven't tried the he400i but I've tried the Sundara, if I'm going objectively about sound, the Sundara is better by at least 30-40% for music listening, it is open back, has better imaging and soundstage and overall tonally better. But for my use case where I want to have a full wireless setup, this is definitely up there and miles better than the usual "gaming" headphones like the arctis series. I actually sold my HD 650 and HD 560s and I only have the Maxwell and Airpods now BUT I will get something like an Ananda or HD800 for pure music bed-side listening.
@@jltalusan hey man, im looking to buy headphones with good sound quality, preferably wireless. I used 2 arctis pro's in the past and they didn't feel like they were good enough, do you still think the maxwells are a good buy or would there be other options? main priorities of mine are good sound quality. preferably would rather it having a solid mic and wireless as well but not a priority for me Would appreciate it a lot if you could answer this. You seem to have a lot of knowledge about headphones so i thought i'd ask. edit for extra info on how the headphone is planned to be used: I do some competitive fps gaming with games that are heavily dependent on audio (impossible to play without headphones kind of dependency where sound is the main sense being used instead of sight and etc), lots of heavy music listening like rock and darker themed stuff with a good amount of bass and sometimes also use the headphones to listen to more relaxing stuff as well like jazz while reading
@@Error-33 Sound is subjective. Asking people online what you should buy, while a good starting point, shouldn't be the way to go buy something. Someone can recommend a headphone super enthusiastically, you go spend your hard earned money and get it set up and settle in with your favorite album and... boom. sounds like shit to your ear, or has treble peaks that person didn't mention because they aren't sensitive to that frequency.. I use reviewer opinions as a starting point, then learned how to read graphs and take what they say, along with the graphs and knowing what kind of sound I like or want and go research anything that catches my eye and I can now essentially blind buy an IEM or headphone and not have any regrets with the purchase.
Get the wicked cushions. Just got mine and no more heat
Thanks for the heads-up! I actually saw them on Amazon last week, I'll get them soon.
Thanks for the comparison. I was under the impression that you liked the hd 650 better. Did you decide to keep them as a wireless headset?
Actually I'm selling all of my headphones right now, I'm just going to keep the Maxwell and Airpods. While the 560s sounds nice and has a wider soundstage for music I prefer the more intimate and relaxing HD 650 rather than the 560s. I believe the 560s is more on for the critical listening sessions. But I'm still thinking if I want to keep the HD 650 instead.
@@jltalusan I was also thinking of these headphones as versatile for everything.
@@Winsentc for me this is good enough to replace my headphones. I’ve tried the arctis lineup and it’s really not that good
Very helpful video, thank you.
Thank you for watching!!
just got the dav3 it feels much better in the hand, feels lighter, than the dav2 and the side buttons are higher up which actually gives your thumb space, also went from wired to wireless, really liking it so far got it for $90 used definitely worth it to me.
I've been using the deathadder v2 wired for years, I tried Viper and I didnt like it, you think going for Deathadder V3 is better than v2 wireless?
@@BatootGamer Hello. Could you please tell your hand size (or your height maybe)? I'm choosing a present for a friend and can't decide between Viper V2 Pro And Deathadder v3 pro?
@@fender8372 oh im so sorry I just noticed that comment. It was not the size for my case but it was the shape of it since I used the wired deathadder for too long I just needed a wireless one with the same shape. My friend had deadthadder and he liked the viper more.
@@BatootGamer oh, thanks for answer
Good video. For someone who likes the shape of the Logitech G403, which one would you recommend between these two?
I think for me I'll still pick the DAv3, I mean it's so good I haven't bought any mouse in the past months! :)
does the v3 feel alot different in ur hand? i had the original deathadder, and i didnt like it at all.. im thinking about getting the v3 in hopes of it being different, but im afraif im gonna be dissapointed again
right now im using 303 shroud edition, before i used xm1 which i loved but it was a a little low for me tho.. i wish it was like 4cm high
comparing with the DAv2, yes it feels a lot different. just the overall shape and finger grooves alone makes it a little less deathadder-ish. for me this is the best deathadder version they made.
Exchange with me fr, I don't like my g pro x superlight.
impressions after 3 months?
I don't see myself buying any mouse at the moment, build quality is really top notch, battery life is like a god mode only charge it once a week (when I see it at 50%+ I charge it lol) also charges fast via the usb-c
Great video mate!
Thank you so much!!
I know u are a MOBA player just for the sound of your right click xdd
hahaha! I play all kinds of games, single player rpg, fps and moba but I didn't know finger clicks would gave it away lol
Very nice and calming video lol
Thank you so much!
keycaps?
I think this is a knockoff 9009 keycaps
What is that mat/mousepad? It looks sick!
It's a Sushi Suitchi Deskmat. Designed by Input Universe. I got it from a local group buy in the Philippines. zionstudios.ph/product/gb-sushi-suitchi-deskmat/
@@jltalusan thanks for the reply!
U think the missing finger grooves on the v3 might put off someone that has been using the more traditional deathadder shape for years? I have similar hand size to you. Thanks for the video
Hello, for me it actually feels “familiar” if that makes sense. Though it’s a big change in the finger grooves, the way that I still slightly feel the finger grooves on the DAv3 makes it less off putting.
I just got the deathadder v3 and holy shit the grooves is really offputting. The old design is waaay better....
Exactly the video i needed! Thanks so much man.
No problem!! I didn’t find a lot of videos like it when I upgraded. I’m still using the deathadder v3 pro as my daily now
@@jltalusan Nicee! I don't wanna bother you, but would you say the front feels at all like a viper or any other mouse you've owned?
@@BananaKyat it's far from a viper, the overall feel of the viper is flat, while the dav3 is a bit curved which is really good. vs. what I experience with deathadder v2 pro which the curve is really pronounced that is a bit bothersome.
@@jltalusan ok perfect. Thanks for the help brother, I ordered mine!
@@BananaKyat nice! let me know how it went after you receive it!

Thank you, yes it’s very good. It’s just sad that I don’t have it, I usually ask my friends to drop it for me. 😅
Why do all sound scratchy?
Because it's zeal-type tactile switches lol And probably lubed not properly
I just saw your comment guys, I actually created the video to share to a friend of mine that knows a lot about modding. Turns out I really did a bad lube lol, it sounds a lot nicer a year after I posted this video. I'm currently using Gateron Oil Kings and It sounds a lot better.

yeah!!
Why zealios sound so mushy
I don't know, I actually like boba's more now haha!
