In this video I show how I added another 4 feet of height to the rock wall I built over my pool. I also showed some improvements that I made to the existing wall like upgrading the base. The total height of the wall is about 14 feet off the water and the steepest overhang portion is 80 degrees. I got some of the inspiration of the shape of the wall from the deep water solo wall in Olympic Park Utah that is used for the Psicobloc Masters competition. This video was actually taken in the summer of 2019 but I just got around to editing it all into a TH-cam video. I'm in the works right now to make an even better wall that will hopefully be done in a few months. Hope you guys enjoyed the video. Let me know if you have any questions.

@@VladOnEarth Spreading miss information is bliss. Lipos only contain like 7% lithium so even if some how water gets into the sealed cell there isn't too much to react with. There is a large amount of humidity in the air which could cause the lithium to react So they must be air tight to not allow anything in therefore, they are waterproof. the worst that can happen to your batteries is that the terminals that the wires connect to could corrode. People even put many lithium batteries is salt water to fully discharge them for disposable. Also that's a dive box rated for 16ft underwater. My pool is 7.5 feet deep it's not going to leak.

    • @VladOnEarth

@mattsheehy1854 whatever bud, I already engineered with lithium when you was 5 years old probably. Being in denial about lipo (not liion) satety isnt gonna help you. But at least thats a dive box, so it is better, looked like a food container to me.

@@VladOnEarth I don't really like Lipos anyway I don't really use them any more. If you want to critique my newest battery build check out this post. I'm not quite done with it yet but I'm always looking for information on how to make my large batteries safer.

Looks like a lot of fun, but without the side rails making turns will never work. a ski turns by putting it on the edge, and using the radius of the ski itself. The more it is on the edge the more the ski will bend causing it to make a tighter (carving) turn.

I built a control box for my BlueRobotics T-200 thrusters I use on a 10" fishing kayak. I have two thrusters, one on each side of the kayak and using the BlueRobotics Thruster Commander I can operate in a "skid steering" mode. I wanted my control box to be watertight and used several other BlueRobotics components to achieve this. The control pots were the most problematic given they needed to turn. I ended up using a couple BlueRobotics switch assemblies that I modified. This link will give you some idea of how I made the mods. www.flickr.com/photos/pakbikes/albums/72157693503533505 My control box was never intended to operate underwater but I did test it out under about a foot of water and everything inside the control box stayed dry. I was mainly wanting to keep the electronics inside the box dry from rain and water splashing onto the box or if I dropped the control box overboard. ;-) BlueRobotics switch: bluerobotics.com/store/comm-control-power/switch/switch-10-5a-r1/ BlueRobotics Thruster Commander: bluerobotics.com/store/comm-control-power/elec-packages/cmdr-r1-rp/ BlueRobotics T-200 Thruster (7.8 lb f forward thrust @ 12Vdc & 11.2 lb f forward thrust at 16Vdc) bluerobotics.com/store/thrusters/t100-t200-thrusters/t200-thruster/ Check out the complete lineup of BlueRobotics thruster and accessories. @@mattsheehy1854 ok thanks. Yeah great idea! like cutting curves would only be available in CNC mode... Wonder if using only the SX2.7 to build brackets for the motors and CNC add-ons would be possible?

Brief yet still rich demonstration. Great job! BTW you can add G29 to your Cura setting for auto bed leveling.

Hi guys. I got mine working. I've been printing with all five colours. Agreed its a beast to get running right. I found if you run the same filament from the same company it works better especially if the filament has a consistant diameter. I've found this to be the case anyway especially loading and unloading. I have one roll of PLA its a fluro yellow really bright but its a beast to load and unload without some interaction from me. I'm currently printing re tractable filament spool holders. Near empty spool were like a tightly wound spring and flying out of the standard tray. The unit isn't setup perfectly yet and it is challenging.
