Thanks for the upload. Im watching this with one of my favourite Chris Reeve knifes at hand. It's my most frequently carried knife and one I use regularly, a Small Sebenza 21 with Mammoth bark ivory inlays and Devin Thomas Damascus blade, made in November 2014. Handle slabs are engraved C13. I found this knife by pure luck at a German online shop where I'd bought another Sebenza just one or two weeks earlier. Usually after a purchase like that I'd ignore my dealers for a couple of months. I don't know what compelled me to break that "rule", but I'm glad I did. They had exactly that one Sebenza with Mammoth ivory. I never asked if I was just late, because usually, if for example the shop had Sebenzas with Box Elder inlays, they had in stock both large and small ones and within each size three or four different Damascus patterns and a monosteel version to choose from. At the time I was a little saddened I might have missed out on the large version, which I generally preferred over the small. However, this was the one knife I intended to just look at from time to time, but I just had to make that my edc/edu go-to knife. Shows a (very) little wear now, but to me there is no monetary value to it anyhow, because it NEVER will be sold. As far as I know this us from the last batch of Sebenzas ever made with Mammoth Ivory, except perhaps from one or the other individually ordered knife.

Am I the only one who’s having issues with the audio being off from the video?

I own a GB knife and it's great. I also own two Sebenza's, a Professional Soldier, and a Nyala. I'm currently waiting on delivery ov my first one piece Shadow III. I came across a serialized Yarbororgh at a gun show. I don't know the situation that put it into the market, but If I had the cash then, or have found one today, I would have purchased it and tried to return it to a family member or put it into a museum.

I bought my first Chris Reeves in 1990 a Shadow 2 Made in South Africa model number 234 (I was 18 at the time and cost me £160) and still have that amazing knife today. I also bought a Project 1 in 2005, a UMNUMZAAN (original large pivot) in early 2012 and in the last couple of weeks a lovely Sebenza 31 in Chad Nichols Boomerang Damascus blade with Box Elder Inlays and polished Titanium handles, these are amazingly made knives wish I'd bought more in the past!

I really admire Reeve's South African styling. It's very classy.

Apparently Sebenza’s aren’t made as well as they used to be, I have a Sebenza 31 and the pivot bushing falls right out of the blade where it’s supposed to be tight. Makes reassembly using the preferred slide-in method really difficult. I guess their tight tolerances went out the window

This is interesting but would have been nice if the interviewer actually knew something about the topic... also what in the world is that god awful background music nonsense when people are speaking in it... I have to listen so intently to make out what they are saying... The editor needs to be fired... wouldn't even finish watching this but it doesn't seem like there is many more interviews out there. I love CRK knives and own several, don't think much if anything compare.

How many times, did you open and close your knife, while watching this?

I have a Mark IV # 76, and an aviator #234, made prior to the Black Jack connection, and the knives being marked 'Made in South Africa'. Both have the very light knurling on the handles as shown in this video, and hand made sheathes with heavy white stitching that I was told were made by a friend of Chris.
