Enjoyed watching!
I have lived in Dawson City since 2009, and I found your video amazingly accurate! While I have traveled many of the roads in Yukon, you have been on even more of them than I have. I highly recommend the trip to Keno though. It is a very special place.
Thanks for the comment! Yes, I'd love to get up to Keno in the not too distant future...
Great video! We drove the Top of the World Highway from Alaska to Dawson City and the Dempster to Tuk and back in Summer 2023. It was wonderful to relive those drives through your video.
Very informative, thanks for making this video.
VERY well done, Scott Elkins. Thank you for the effort. Enjoyed it!
This was an amazing video and very thorough on the route. Awesome job!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome video! I always wanted to know more about this region!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Im planning a trip there, any issues near the border with crime? Cartel? Etc?
I really appreciate your honesty and beautiful voice ❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful desolation. Thanks for posting!
Thank you too!
The highway starts at Dawson Creek not Watson Lake.
u lost me at the toe..
You're not the first!
Wow! An accurate description. Thank you so much. You only made one error. 'Enter by one route and leave by the other'. A standard Yukon joke is "I came for a quick visit thirty years ago".
We don’t have miles in Canada it’s KILOMETERS for the past almost 50 years
I'd say Canada has many thousands of miles of lovely roads to travel... And 1.609 times as many kilometers of the same! 😁
Thank you very much for sharing your video of Yukon....I enjoy watching your travel ..❤
Thanks for the video and insights
Breath taking scenery. And you didn't mention the northern light shows. Up close you could hear them
Everyone seems to make kinda the same videos they stop at the same places mention the exact scenery other record for their videos.,thank you anyway for showing the experience.
Very nice to watch, thanks. I am going there in May.
Excellent guide, thank you so much!
Thank you for the detailed descriptions Hoping to travel some of these roads someday
I applaud you again for this excellent informative video. I have ridden to most of these places.
U truly are great yes I have been able to see Yukon with your eyes I am 75 years old n since school I had a fascination for the tundra
Thanks for your note. I'm glad I was able to give you a glimpse.
Scott you are amazing! Covered the essentials of Yukon in 25 Min.!!! Very informative
Thanks!
Thanks. Nice video. A couple of years ago, I drove up from Skagway to Whitehorse and spent the night. Beautiful scenery along the way.
thanks for the detailed video guide!
I plan to go visit the Yukon from Ottawa Ontario and would like to bring with me things the locals dont have in plenty. Not for sale but maybe as small token gifts. If theres anything they seemed to be lacking/wanting please let me know!
Well, I wouldn't say folks are lacking for anything in particular. I suggest just bringing along curiosity, respect, and appreciation. I think those will go further than a material gift.
In your opinion, when are the best months to travel these roads? I read somewhere that the mosquitoes can be so bad in the summer
The fall colors peak around September 1, which is when I try to time my visits. By that time the bugs are pretty manageable, too.
Wow! This is about the most excellent travel TH-cam I’ve seen! Thanks!
Thanks!
Fanastic review, thanks for sharing.
Hello, I'm already in Dawson City👍👍👍😊😊😊🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Great video and very inspiering, one wants to jump in the car and starts driving to the Yukon territory.
Still haven't flown my drone..
THANK YOU FOR THIS FANTASTIC HELPFUL INFORMATION, AND PICTURES.
Great Video....channell....no silly one-liners, no all about me's camera shots....subscribed.
What time of year you suggest us make a trip to Yukon?
I like to go around September 1. The fall colors are vibrant and there are fewer mosquitoes and biting flies.
Great video.Thanks!
Great video, I appreciate the hard work you put into it. Thank you and greasy side down.
Thank you! Words cannot express enough. This, is the true Freedom!
Yeah I don't think I'd be taking the human toe shot.
Excellent, excellent, informative video! Thanks for your work.
❤❤❤
eye candy well done thanks for sharing great video classssssssssssss
Scott Extremely well done, I just found this and it will be very helpful for my trip to alaska in 2024...Thanks again
I traveled the Alaska Highway in 1997. Much of the road was not paved. I remember well Watson Lake and Whitehorse. The first time I saw the Northern lights was at a lodge called Iron City. This video brought back wonderful memories of my adventure. Thank you. 😊
Thank you ❤
One of, if not the best travelogs ive seen. Thank you, your video has convinced me to explore more of the yukon as we travel to Alaska in 2025.
Wow, thank you!
Sourtoe cocktail? WHY would ANYONE want a human toe in their drink? That's absolutely disgusting.
Disgusting, yes...and I did it! :)
The audio is a little too quiet, even with my speaker volume at maximum.
Hard to hear anything
