Check the display settings. Probably the settings are not properly set. But if you still don't like it, probably best to return it. We shouldn't compromise on anything.

@@gizmo-addict Is any new phone proven to have a screen at least on par with S23u? I can't believe I am even considering an iPhone because of that disappointment after being Note fan and owner aince Note 1 (!!!!!).

@@petergplus6667 i dont think so. I actually like s24u display (and liked s23u too). For me s24u gives me smoother experience than s23u. I can't use any other phone as the experience is just not the same. I have the iphone 15pm also but it is the usual dependable iphone but I got bored. Also notifications are a joke on iphones.

@@sayanchanda7274 if you want the best camera and software in this price range then go for it. But if you are a gamer, then probably buy the iqoo phones or even Moto edge 50 pro.

I use the samsung 25w charger. CMF charger should work as its a nothing brand. Though max. Charging speed for nothing phone 2a is 45w

There is no tempered glass. My nothing phone 2a came with a screen protector preinstalled.

Nothing phone 2 will be better phone in all aspects except battery. Nothing phone 2a has better battery life

Yes. Samsung lineup is such that people will think it’s better to buy their flagship phones. In the budget phones, nothing and Motorola are the only ones giving a good software experience

Its still there. But I think it is slightly faster than earlier. Probably a limitation of processor or how nothing is processing the photo

For me it tooks 4-5 seconds if i immediately open the photo after taken. I don't think it is a huge issue but could be improved...maybe it is becaus of ultra xdr that it needs to process multiple images and merge them togather. If you switch it off it is a lot faster.

@@addaedans yes. That is the case. I feel it used to take at least 3 seconds earlier. Now its probably 1 second faster. Could be a placebo effect.

What is your confusion? I think if you have a bit more budget moto edge 50 pro is a very good option. But if you want to have something within Rs 23K-24K then nothing phone 2a is a very good option. It is not a gaming phone but it is an allrounder. And software experience is best in this price range.

I am using this phone and my experience is superb.. you can buy the nothing phone 2a undoubtedly

If I use it normally, I can get a SOT of 6-7 hrs easily over a day of usage. It can actually last for 1.5 days also.

A35 display is better. Samsung still puts in good displays on its budget phones..

@@gizmo-addictthe display on the a35 isn‘t better both have oled, both have 120 hz refresh rate, both have fhd+, the nothing is with 1300 nits brighter than the a35 with 1000 nits the screen size is pretty similar on both and the nothing has much smaller bazzles

@@harshalmetalpawar just the brightness number doesn’t translate to real life experience. I found the A35 display to be more vibrant. Nothing 2a’s display is good but I liked the Samsung display more. And I didnt run into any situation where A35 was not visible but Nothing was visible.

Yes. Performance is improved now. So it's now better for gaming. But still if gaming is your only focus, iQOO might be better

Yes. At this price point generally companies don't give physical proximity sensor. Good from nothing.

Too bad, the (2a) went out of stock on both Lazada and Shopee so it leaves us with two options: Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ and Samsung Galaxy A35. I have to wait for (2a) to come back since Nothing styled AOSP intrigued me.

I have a Samsung 25w charger. It doesn't charge very fast but I don't want to spend extra money on nothing charger.

@@mdshamil07 full charge will take around 1hr 10 min with 25W charger. If you have compatible 45w charger then around 55mins. Battery life is good though. With moderate usage it can last 1 day easily with 6-7 hr screen time

Yes, you can definitely go for this. The software is very good and hopefully they will make the camera better which is probably the only weak point in this phone

@@gizmo-addict is the different huge between the 2 cameras? In my region 2a (128 gb) is for 266 usd A35 is for 320

@@theunknown8612 in some cases the difference is significant. Especially when you take shots of people, the skin tone is much more accurate on A35. On Nothing Phone 2a, the skin tones are way off. But hopefully they will solve it in a software update. It's not bad to be honest but A35 is better.

Camera is much better on A35. Not sure about this special version of NP2a. Lets see if they improve the camera or not.
