It's hard out there for a good honest painter player in these leagues. All the Sneak and Show, Mystic Forge and Echo of Eons gamers out there are raising my blood pressure!

Sweet league with the Gamble tech. I thought you should have Gambled for Pyroblast on Turn 1 of Game 1 against Doomsday. Then you could have had Painter + Blast up from Turn 2 onward.

I agree with you that Fury is underwhelming vs. Eldrazi. If they have Fleshraker or Kozilek's Command, they can chump it forever, and it's unlikely to kill more than one creature with the ETB.

Nice video. It's cool to hear Callum and everyone's perspective on gameplay and deck-building! I am curious to give Ghost Vacuum a try, It seems slow but it's almost like a Muxus if you can activate its "ultimate" ability.

Hey Robert, great league! Chiming in from the peanut gallery because I think you might've had an out g2 against doomsday match 3: I think you can survive and threaten a win if you save your reflection for your endstep. If you hold priority at end step and make a copy of your engineer, you can search out pithing needle and swap it in for bauble using the original engineer. This will prevent the frog from flying on their turn and prevent it from even threatening lethal unless they discard their hand then. You can block the two attackers with magus + engineer copy, before damage swap the needle out for grindstone + win the following turn once the OG engineer untaps. You don't even have to block with magus unless they discarded their whole hand the previous turn. I probably wouldn't have found it in paper, just thought it was a sweet line and wanted to share.

Wow, great league! Needle on Bloodstained Mire into Blood Moon.... You know your opponent is going to toss and turn in the night thinking about that play. Have you tried the sideboard City of Traitors? I just tried it, and it definitely smoothed out the Blood Moon games and made it easier to take out Sagas.

I have the same gun. Even though I think the grips are pretty mine usually wears hogue mono grips. If you want to shoot full house .357, they’re much better for comfort.

I am a GW Depths expert and I would sideboard vs the deck as such in Game 1... In: 2 Fury, 3 Magus, 1 Needle Out: 4 Vexing Bauble, (draw 2 S.S. Guide / play 2 Lightning Bolt) An advanced GW pilot will board out Mox Diamonds vs you because 1. we saw what happened in game one but also 2. most importantly they are boarding in Collector Ouphe and are going to GSZ hard for it, so 3 for 1ing themselves with a Mox is not part of their game plan. Your sideboarding decisions were fine expect that I was very surprised to see you board out Soul-Guide Lantern as it is one of the scariest cards for the GW Depths opponent as it threatens to nerf the power and toughness of Elfs and Knights, making it very hard to attack.

Nice job in your fist match not Bolting face with Dragon Engine ETB on the stack, which would have tapped you out of Engineer. That would be a super tempting value play, but obviously welding out Bauble made Endurance a concern, as you mention. I would have loved to see this list play against Eldrazi. Wasteland plus Moons feels like a big FU to the 'drazi boys.

What's your take on adding "Tithing blade" as a black artifact card to the mainboard?

Do you ever board out Urza's Saga when you board the moons in? I've been doing that lately and been happy with it. I did notice you had both in your opening hand quite a lot this league... I think those Moons and Sagas have a special magnetic pull to each other when shuffled up in the same deck.
