14 artists from across China along with Kevin Macpherson with his non-profit organization, www.artambassador.org/ volunteered their time to paint murals for the children of Long Lin elementary school in XiShuang BanNa, Yunnan. It was quite the experience to see the smiles on the children's faces and get to know the teachers there.

Another great hint. Can we please have more of these? They are so useful.
Very helpful and well explained. I have understood translucent light in relation to a spherical object eg a grape but never really thought about it in relation to flat objects eg leaves. Another veil has fallen from my eyes!

The difficulty for some people is not seeing the negative spaces but of thinking of them as "the background," then not knowing what to do with them in relation to the subject that first caught their interest.
