God wants you to invite him into your everyday life. Not just on Sunday but everyday. Not just seeming like you know the Lord but to actually know him. A life where your decisions are lead by his principles, & his guiding. Going to church isn't knowing God. To know God is to be personally connected with him.

Think about how much you were anticipating on the Lord to speak. Or just how you wanted to go deeper with him and to know him better. But, you hardly ever took the time to read your bible the way you need to. Start making more space for reading your word and watch how you begin to hear God, but also see his heart and yours be transformed.

The greatest way to grow your prayer life is to pray the scriptures. Being more in tune with God and his will, will come by way of spending time in his word & his presence so that your prayers will continually glorify him.

Pray, speak life over yourself & don’t allow the enemy to convince you opposite of what God says about you, your life, or your future!

The best way to discern God’s voice. It has to align with the word of God. He pushes us toward the things of the spirit & not the things of the flesh. Don’t overlook what the Lord is saying because it’s not how you thought it would be. Listen & listen closely. Be still. Read your word, tune out the world, listen, & be obedient. Be encouraged.

There’s a peace that you walk in when you realize, the only one who can do something about this is God, & I trust him to have his way. Be encouraged, and receive his rest. Overthinking won’t change a thing, but faith can. Do your part & leave the rest up to God.

Often times people think that God is mad at you, ignoring you, disgusted with you, fed up with you, ready to abandon you, etc. But, that is not true. God loves you very much and the last thing that he wants to do is abandon, hate you, and leave you. In light of mens mental health awareness month, I wanted to encourage the men even as we exiting this month. You have to forgive yourself of your mistakes and your missteps. Forgive yourself and realize you are not your mistakes. Go before God, and drop your burdens because they are too heavy to live on your shoulders.

If you want to do something, do not let fear hold you back any longer. Just be willing to go and do it. How much have you accomplished by constantly overthinking? Think about the time that has passed by and how much work you would have built. But no need to regret, it's time to just go forth!

This may not be for everyone, but if it is for you be encouraged. The Lord wants to begin to remind you that he sustains you, he always did & he always will. Don't allow fear to hold you back from what the Lord is calling you to do. Be obedient & watch what happens in your life.
