All Bassed Up Fishing
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 7 พ.ค. 2022
All Bassed Up! What is it? It's that feeling you get once you've landed a lunker. Some will simply celebrate with a fist pump and a smile, while I tend to freak out. The trials and tribulations of bass fishing can be brutal which is what makes fishing so rewarding. I'm no pro but you will see some truly awesome catches hopefully learn something, and possibly be entertained.
All Bassed Up Fishing and 8 Up Fishing Team Up For Guns and Hoses Tournament on Lake Roosevelt
Two independent bait makers team up for the Guns and Hoses tournament on Lake Roosevelt in Arizona Oct. 12 and 13th. All Bassed Up Fishing Company and 8 Up Fishing Company teamed up for this Southwest Custom Tackle tournament. We both fished our own lures exclusively and put together a two day total weight of 29 lbs. Watch till the end to see the epic finish that landed us in third place and big fish.

A tough day at Marsh Creek results in a monster muskie. Caught on an All Bassed Up Fishing Company Swim Jig. For some reason the catch is split between to video files. Part 2 will be uploaded soon and shows the landing on shore and release.
Want to catch a lunker??? Forget your Scale!

This catch is a perfect example of what it is to be All Bassed Up. I see the bass at the 2:17 mark of the video and catch it a few moments later. Sorry for the profanity and shotty camera work. I fish a lot and will be posting videos on a regular basis.
Damn dude thats a giant
@@charles7878 thanks!!!!! Gotta love that pre-spawn fishin!!!!!
Good stuff! That last fish was a monster! What was the weight?
7 pounds 4 ounces. Biggest bass I've ever seen in person!
What happened? Why did the video just end
Nice fish
Are you allowed to keep bass from this creek?
@@ronc8632 Yup! It is a big bass lake, so the bass need to be at least 15 inches to keep. Not sure on the quantity limit though.
Any live bait?
Nope! I just fish artificial. I make all my own lures and have a small company if your ever looking for Some jigs, crankbaits, or jerkbaits. www.allbassedupfishing.com
Do you fish Peace Valley?
I was the the jogger on the other side of the action , it was a whale!!!!
Been using my St. Croix Triumph for 15 years, it's a great rod.
I agree! I just had to apply some epoxy and haven't had any problems since.
My first st. Croix was a triumph. Broke the same way. Now I have an eyecon, 2 walleye legend tournaments, and a legend extreme! None of them have broken. Not to mention there warranty is outstanding!!
You suck for the non finish. aDon't care about your excuse. You failed us all. That was a mid size muskie too, not a monster.
Get a hold of St. Croix customer service and they will take care of you.
That looks like a Triumph that's one of the cheapest St Croix you can buy and also one of the worst rods if I'm going to buy a St Croix Rod it's going to be a Mojo the actual purple rods
If man made it, it's subject to failure. My best friend bought a Daiwa Steeze $430 +/-, very first cast, the reel seat shattered. Why? who knows. I still used my $10 Garcia Conolon 6'6" spinning rod purchased in the 1963. The lettering is all gone but guides solid, cork shows its age, but it works just fine. Why, I've no idea. Rods fail, reels fail, really has nothing to do with brand, who made them or where they came from, they just come off the line with a dinky flaw. Pop happens, put your big boy pants on and keep fishing.
People need to learn how to properly use rods. I observed you holding your rod pointing away from the casting location, which stresses the rod from the side (you destroyed the deflection).
St croix rods have a worse reputation for breaking than junk Walmart rods😂.from walleye fisherman to bass fisherman I've seen thousands of broken st croix rods.if they didn't have good replacement policies they would absolutely suck.for the same price buy a veritas or Fenwick hmg.if u like broken rod tips and not enough glue on your cork handles choose st croix😂
Hahahaha!!!!! Agreed!!
I have 15 St. Croix rods and have never broken one of their blanks, after catching hundreds of fish annually with them. People just buy the cheap models and expect them to have the same quality.
@@mrxracing to me cheap means Shimano fx 6'6" medium fast 14.99 Walmart rod.109.99 is not cheap by any means.i own Fenwick abu Shimano Berkeley gloomis diawa falcon Shakespeare basspro and Cabela's rods.i can trust every single rod i own and some of them are 50 dollar rods u can go buy anywhere.if u have to buy the 500 dollar line of rods for them to hold up to basic fishing thats just no bueno.
@@mrxracing But not only that, they buy the cheaper st croixs, load them up with heavy braid, cinch down the drag, set the hook like mad men, and then wonder why their rods break.
Beautiful smallie, hard to see a fish like that out of the water for so long.
St Croix rods SUCK. I broke a mojo inshore just by casting!! I've had it not even 2 freaking weeks!!
You are going to rip the head of the fish striking so hard lol .
Let him go already,we're you that exited when you had your first child.geese.
Good thing you got back in the water as soon as you could!!!
bass x are junk
yea so I had a MoJo Bass rod, broke on a snag, ok. then i upgraded to the Victory and again broke. this time i just casted after not using it for a while. frustrating as hell
Have any of y’all had these problems with the Blue Bass X series? I’ve had the 7’4 heavy fast action rod for about 2 years, 0 issues. I was thinking about buying this model but I’m definitely not now.
Own 3 of them myself bought em almost 4yrs ago zero issues ..however all bass x after that just failed if you go bass x you have to find the blue ones with the foam reel pad up front
I bought a ultra light 6' rod from them and caught several largemouths my biggest fish was 7.82 lb smallmouth on 6lb test while targeting trout [with this rod] Tbh every time I catch a larger fish I fear that it will snap and I'm shocked that it hasn't. I just bought the avid 66 medium power rod, definitely great quality. With fuji guides can't wait to test it out
Damn!! 7.8lbs on 6lb line... NICE!!!
@allbassedupfishing thanks! I was using a trout magnet. Which is a little soft plastic jig. Used to only use 4lb max but it definitely lowered my catch rate. I've found that quality fresh 6lb test is good most of the time until I start flipping top water chatterbaits and jigs...
Bassx just seem to be overpriced shit from what I’m seeing. I bought one and it broke first trip out. All these stories in comments about problems with them. St Croix dropped the ball on this one
CLICK BAIT
ive had a trout rod from them that my pop pop bought in 2013 and it still works great. Really sucks that yours broke though
Yeah It was a bummer, but i re-epoxied it and it's good to go. No problems since.
@@allbassedupfishing nice!
Dude 12 minutes and you don't sho2 the fish ? Bro that's heartbreaking. I was invested. Feeling your frustration. I've had many days of cast and retrieve and no bites. Seeing fish and can't get them to bite anything. Please show the fish. Sure you could see it was a good one. But it's just not the same
I’ve been trying to catch one there for years what did you use for bait. I just caught some nice bass there today.
I used a swim jig with a keitech 3.8 fat swing impact (white and chartreuse). I make and sell jigs and crank baits. the color swim jig i was using is Disco Shad www.allbassedupfishing,com
@@allbassedupfishing I’ll look into it thanks. I’ll give u a holler if I see u at marsh creek ever. I fish up there every saturday
I've been slapping them this year with a rat top water 4 already this year and haven't even put the kayaks in yet
Nice fish but not big for a musky!
Are you the guy that was fishing this lake on memorial day with your girlfriend?
Nope, I haven't had a chance to get back to Marsh Creek since this catch.
You fish your lures way too fast.
He's just reeling reeling reeling and never letting the bait drop. 😂
@@jackinyoubaby And wonders why he isn't getting bit. 😂🤣😂
you ended the video wayyyy too soon and no pics of the catch?
For some reason the file split. I got the whole thing on video. I just need to learn how to edit and put them together. I'll get some pics up.
This thing really was a monster! (I’m guy on the bank at the end)
Awesome!!!! Hey, thanks for your help and the pictures. Did one of your sons catch a fish after i left? I heard somebody get All Bassed Up from across the lake.
We saw the exact same thing with many bassX models when I was working at fishing store. We returned so many for exactly the same reason. This what happens when an America company sells out
Yup! I put some epoxy on myself and it's has been great ever since. Made in America is always better!
Bass X is also a bottom end rod from them. Those and the Triumph are made for people who don't want to spend the money on better quality.
DO IT TW!!!
Okay.... Im Doin it!
Made in Mexico
Ya the website says USA but there's a sticker on the bottom that says Mexico!
Same happened to me shortly after buying the BassX. They offered to replace it for free or pay the difference to go with the Mojo (which I did and that's been solid). Frustrating though.
yeah, I just put some epoxy on it and its been good since. I'm glad that fish wasn't a lunker. I would have had a problem.
Where did u buy it?
Bro I have the same exact rod!! It broke twice already. I bought it then broke after 3 months, I had to pay $25 for a replacement, I wait 6WEEKS!! Than I take the new rod fishing for the first time and it breaks after 30 minutes I had only caught 1 half pound smallmouth there rods are shit! Now I have to go through the process of filling out all the shit again, than 3 weeks for them to except my replacement cost me another $25, than another 6 weeks for them to ship the motherf. But they’re the best rods right lmao what a joke! The rods are so sensitive that they break after minimal use!
Also my cork on my first rod was falling out after a couple weeks
whats their moto...... "The Best Rods On Earth" Hogwash!!
Nice!
Nice smallie!
Thanks man, I love catching them. Sorry bout the language. I was All Bassed Up!
I hate the cork bruh they just need to let the shit go
I think it looks sick lol
I ❤ it !
Just bought the new bass x rod yesterday bout 1/2 though the fishing trip it snamped
Lol dude I literally broke mine today. The 200 dollar rod broke after twenty mins. Using a rapala jerk.
Which one? Victory?
