Hopefully this video clearly illustrates the importance of checking the roads that cross you and slowing as you approach a green light, you never know when something like this could happen. Also remember it's YOUR responsibility as a driver to evade danger, failure to do so is a fail on a driving test even if the incident is someone else's fault.
